rGuest Stay is a cloud-based hotel property management solution by Agilysis that caters to businesses in the hospitality industry. It is designed for properties of all sizes and various types such as hotels, inns, lodges, casinos, stadiums, resorts, cruise lines and more.

rGuest Stay supports integration with multiple online tools that include web reservations, booking engines and OTAs. These tools help property owners to manage rates and inventory for multiple online distribution channels. The solution also features a custom user interface that helps managers to monitor housekeeping statistics and check-in their guests.

Additionally, rGuest Stay supports integration with rGuest's payment processing module that helps users to manage guest data and PCI burden with different credit card transactions. Its business logic enables properties to present room upsell offers based on their business rules and guest wallet share opportunities.

Support is offered via phone, email and an online knowledge base.

    Slow system for busy bars. Lots more extra work particularly if management don't know the business.

    Checking out at the end of a shift is quick.

    Not much else to report from a user perspective.




    Cons

    *Many extra steps no matter what it is you are doing. Even something simple takes a lot longer than most POS systems.
    *Basic layout (key buttons) are counter intuitive.
    *Slow between screens
    *Difficult to find tabs unless you have a system worked out that works for everyone.
    *Difficult to store checks with guest name/credit card.
    *No control of screen brightness (not ideal for venues with low lighting)

    I have used LMS for many years. I find the platform to be very stable. Agilysys is always making improvements on the system and are open to suggestions from users. There are many ways to set up the system so it works for your business. It integrates well with our financial system and it produces our daily entry automatically which saves times and reduces data input errors.

    Pros

    The platform is very stable and does not "crash" often like other systems I have worked with. New security features that allow you to lock down access by different job levels is nice.

    Cons

    More reports need to be available in Excel or in a exportable friendly format. The database data also needs to be available in a list format so it is easier to export and maintain.
