Five Star PMS is a cloud-based property management solution that helps hotels, resorts and inns to manage their day-to-day business operations such as front and back office duties, online reservations, catering management, inventory and point-of-sale routines.
The main front office program includes yield management to adjust rates, group management, package management and a report generator with multiple guest information fields and analyses on different traveler segments. The back office features include a night audit, which records the transactions and offers an executive dashboard to view up-to-date financial information.
Five Star PMS' internet reservations module maintains real-time rate and availability information and allows guests to book directly from the hotel's website. Integration with Google Analytics allows hotels to gain information on the booking engines usage.
Additionally, Five Star PMS offers features to manage banquets and catering events. Support is available via phone and online documentation.

I could never in good conscience recommend becoming involved with these people. The product is reasonable good, the support is not.
This is the third Hotel management system we have used in the past 20 years. This one is functionally as good or better than any we have had. It is reasonably easy to learn and use, has reasonable flexibility allowing you to tailor your reporting, and if used in conjunction with the food and beverage module, there is good connectivity and functionality
The sales line provided at time of purchase was nothing but salesman BS, promises were made, assurances were given regarding capabilities and performance, and it has been like pulling teeth to try and get the service people to have the system perform as we were promised it would. These people have an arrogant, belligerent and confrontational attitude to customer service. We have given up using them for support and are forced to do almost all system configuration, modification on our own. Thank goodness we have good people with 20 years of hospitality software who are intelligent and motivated to resolve issues on their own because there has been little support from 5-Star.
