Classic Payroll Company Software

Pros

A previous company I worked for used ADP for payroll. It was seamless. We all got paid on time, the correct amounts, and the software was easy to use.

Cons

There were no cons to the WorkforceNow ADP software for me as an employee of a company that used ADP.

ADP Simplifies Payroll

ADP Workforce now is an easy to use payroll system. It does have most of the flexibility that we needed and did not take a lot of time to set p or use.

Pros

The software was generally easy to use. The reports were good and it was easy to train the staff on.

Cons

Some of the reports were not able to be modified for specific situations.

Not just a payroll software

Pros

The time & attendance module has allowed us to capture job costing and the essential benefits has allowed us to efficiently administer and report on benefits.

Cons

Reporting can be improved and it seems that getting help with custom reports is becoming increasingly difficult. If standard reports were allowed to be customize, that would be an improvement - example the employee roster report uses employee name which is a single field containing "Last Name, First Name Middle Name") rather than separate fields that would allow for easy formatting of form letters and labels.
Also, we had some difficulty in getting our 401k match calculated correctly and we had to escalate the issue to get it resolved.

Pretty user friendly way to keep track of paychecks

Pros

It’s been pretty user friendly in terms of being able to check on your previous paychecks and it’ll give you the breakdown of your pay

Cons

I can’t think of any cons because I really only use adp to track what my company is paying me so there are features I’m not using

Software Review

Pros

It is easy to use once you are trained on the items that you need.

Cons

Having to call in for help on items we should be able to do on our own.

Accounting Manger

We won't have to worry about what amounts to deduct on employee garnishment and remitting the money to correct agency. ADP takes care of our payroll processing, so we can focus on improving our business processes.

Pros

Handles all the different payroll issues that come up. Allows us to calculate paychecks in advance and compare different tax elections. Handles benefits and payroll. Transfers benefit information to payroll.

Cons

I would like a report that provides the cost of each benefit option we have. Would allow us to make sure we inputted correct amounts at open enrollment. Daily report or dashboard of changes made to employee payroll information would be helpful.

Kept it for payroll, left for time coding

Pros

ADP is hands down the best payroll processor out there. They handle checks, W2s, tax information, etc. -- better than anyone.

Cons

Unfortunately, we found a simpler timesheet coding tool for our staff. ADP's timesheet interface, coupled with our need for specific time coding, made it hard to move forward with that functionality.

Easy and secure

At first, I thought that I was not going to be able to maneuver around with this software. I mean not many people like change. I had become great with our other logging in software that we used to use, but as soon as they gave us this software WorkForce Now, it made clocking in and out amazing. I am now able to request days off properly without messing up anything. I can also see other payroll checks that I had and so much more.

Pros

The Workforce Now software is amazing. You are able to clock in and out easily. I am also able to see my vacation time and request off with no problem.

Cons

There is no cons about this software at this time all is well.

This is great!

My experience has been great. This is must have program! It has helped me save a lot of time.

Pros

I love that I am able to check my current pay and track my hours. I am also able to download and print any of my pay stubs when I need them. And as a manager, I'm also able to track my employees attendance as well. Overall a great tool!

Cons

Sometimes runs a little slow but nothing really to complain about. It's probably mostly my connection.

ADP Review

ADP is nice because is consolidates information into one place, including pay history, employee information, and available PTO. Having to use one website to view all of this information saves time. Sometimes ADP is slow to load, but that could be due to factors outside of ADP's control.

Pros

I'm able to view vacation time, employment info, pay stubs, etc. in one place.

Cons

It may just be my company server, but ADP is sometimes really slow to load.

ADP Workforce Now review

Pros

It allowed me to be more efficient in processing payroll by connecting the various tasks associated with payroll preparation. I was using a separate time clock and payroll software, and writing manual liability checks.

Cons

In some areas there are more options than my company needs and it can be tedious to sort through the menu options.

Very easy to use HR system!

I love that I can enter in my benefits selections as well as update my tax forms, address, and direct deposit information.

Pros

This software is the easiest to use HRIS I have ever used.

Cons

The notifications could use some updates because it is difficult to view them after archiving.

Easy to use

Compared to other benefits sign-up services I've tried, this is very simple to use. I like that it incorporates everything into one system, sends automatic confirmation and reminder emails, and shows you what you need to do.

Pros

I used this software to sign up for my benefits, and it was very simple. It guided me through the process, showed which parts I had filled out, and allows you to save and come back later.

Cons

The interface is not super modern, but it's functional.
