ApplicantStack, is a cloud-based applicant tracking and employee onboarding solution specifically designed to suit the needs of small and midsize organizations in any industry.

ApplicantStack offers tools to help companies generate online employment applications, create and post new open positions, share positions on top job boards as well as social media sites and build screening questionnaires to accompany online applications. Users can track and manage candidates and allow them access to schedule interviews directly on a shared calendar. As a part of the onboarding module, users can manage new hire paperwork, communications, tasks and employee information in a single place. ApplicantStack provides a library of state and federal forms so new hires can electronically sign all documents, via their employee portal.

The solution is hosted in the cloud, so there is no need to invest in IT infrastructure or support. ApplicantStack provides a support portal as well as a help center which includes getting started videos. No long-term commitment or contract is required.

Helps condense applicants and saves time

Thus far, this program has been an excellent time-saver.

Pros

I like the way I can receive and access applicants from a number of sites all in the same place.

Cons

Applicants are unable to go back into their applications and add information when I ask them to. If they have omitted something, such as work history, they are unable to go back into the application and fix it, or complete a new one.

Cons

Some applicants have trouble completing an application once they have submitted one, even if it has been quite a while.

Useful Tool for a Hiring Process

Pros

This software is great hiring tool for a small company or organization. Easy to use and mobile optimized with an intuitive navigation features.

Cons

It would be great to have more menus and drop-down features. In addition, adding label and image components on questionnaire will be great too.

Overall it's functional and you can do much with it although it's not a total "one stop shop"

Pros

I like that you can contact the applicant directly through the software and that you can move an applicant back and forth from different categories with relative ease. I also like that it saves the history of what was sent/done with each applicant.

Cons

I don't like that when applicants are imported from certain sites, the information is not conveyed correctly and an address or city will show with ???? instead of valid information.

Applicantstack - Simplify your hiring

Pros

Applicantstack made my recruitment life simpler. I was thrilled to have discovered this cloud based software. I managed the recruitment for 20 office locations for a home health care organization. This software was very friendly to use and posted to all the major job aggregators. I never had any interfacing issues and they were constantly improving their system. Their tech support was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed being able to rate the applicants, communicate with them and more right from one screen. I was also able to access applications from my smartphone which was extremely useful.

Cons

I really do not have any cons. I am so glad I found them. The system improved our hiring significantly and made my job easier.

Best Recruiting Tool Out There!

Love this software!!! I recruit for my office as part of my role and daily duties and this software allows me to better mange my time with screening and posting for jobs.

Pros

Ease of creating job descriptions, posting to boards and assigning open jobs. Allows you to easily review candidates by job opening and allows you to set questioning for easy qualification of candidates. You can set up email template to send out to candidates to save time. So many amazing tools!

Cons

There is a KO tool that allows you to set certain criteria as must have or the applicant is "knocked out" . The distance or towns listed aren't exact so some people may be categorized as knocked out when they are within your specified area. These "KO" applicants still end up the main pool of applicants so that you can change it with a click.

Pros

The ability to add in documents that require signatures or information is great. It saves a lot of paper and time having applicants fill it out directly online.

Cons

It's confusing and jumbled. They could have a cleaner look with more organized features. Posting a job up is a multi-step process when it really has no reason to be.

I appreciate the access to such a wide variety of applicants without having to check multiple sites. Consolidates the hiring search process.

Cons

I wish there was a way to reject partial applications; where an application will not be submitted to the employer if areas are not filled out accordingly. This feature would help to get ahead on deciphering between serious applicants verses those not unable/unwilling to follow the required steps of applying.

Great way to streamline applicants

This has been a great software that my company has been using for several years now. The ease of being able to log into it from various locations has proven to be a great time saver.

Pros

This product allows us to organize those who apply for the various positions. It is a great tool for us to screen for desired applicants by allowing us to organize the applications in various ways.

Cons

While the features are hidden, it seems that it can be a bit difficult to figure out how to change certain things like signatures. However, once figured out the first time, it's very easily accessible.

I like the fact that I can put certain fields into the system and it will automatically customize letters for new staff.

It is literally one of the easiest software products out. I like the fact that you can customize it to fit your needs.
