Payroll Solution Meets the Demands of Our Organization

Payroll Solution assist us in processing payrools, and this speeds up the process of payments, and eliminate errors that may arise. Again, with Payroll Solution, there is no possibility of having unsoved employees complainst, more so, salary related.

Pros

What I like most with Payroll Solution is its quick and accurate abilities to process workers payments. With just a single click, there entire payroll get processes without any error. The software is so straightforward, and this makes it improve the productivity of our firm. Again, the implementation cost of this item is far better than that of others.

Cons

However, some of the reporting features of Payroll Solution are not that effective, and this may cause issues during the process of accounting. Again, including some benefits is an issue, more so, those one that are not major.

APS meets all of our payroll needs. Great customer service and support.

Pros

I've been working with APS for almost two years and being my very first experience with a payroll software I found it very easy to learn. The way this software is built and organized makes it very easy to use it. This is particularly true when you are in need to create a report. In this case you can choose one of the several ready-to-use reports from the "Report Manager" option, or you can build your own customized report that best meets your needs. Additionally, to save time and efforts the report you created can be shared among several users in different departments.
Another thing I liked about APS is the excellent customer service I received in all of the inquires and issues I encountered during my job.

Cons

What I liked least about this software is the fact that when you enter or modify any type of information there is no "safety net", meaning the system does not ask you to confirm your changes before leaving the tab you are in. By adding this extra step you will be "forced" to double check your entries and this can be very helpful in avoiding mistakes especially on sensitive information like bank account numbers, pay rates, or addresses.
Another feature that could be implemented is to allow users to download raw data or .csv file directly from the "Analytics" tiles. Right now you can only display, look, and print the information but you cannot download the data in on Excel format. From an Human Resources standpoint it would very helpful to be able to download data such as Employee Turnover, New Hires by department, and Employee Count by month.

The compatibility with our clock in software is great! The customer service is excellent! I have dealt with several reps and they are all well trained and knowledgeable about the product!

Pros

I do like the ease at which we can set up employees for direct deposit, it's a time saver! Even changes in direct deposit are easy to deal with.

Cons

I find some challenges in locating the specific reports I need. But, that just might be me!
I also miss a function that we had with another software which calculates a payroll check based on the net amount you enter into the calculator. Miss that a lot!

Very positive, impressive, and relaxing experience using APS.

Besides that one missing function, APS has been perfect otherwise. We look forward to continue using APS.

Pros

APS is a great application for all things payroll related, as well as maintaining certain HR functions. This application has helped us streamline several processes and cut down on mistakes. It is priced very competitively as well.

Cons

The application lacks a gross check calculator. This function has been needed on almost a daily basis, and the alternative is to "guestimate" what the gross amount should be to get the desired net check.

APS Payroll Solution

Our organization is very pleased with the services and customer service we receive from APS. We used a different national payroll processor previously but had issues with their knowledge of non-profits and experienced some issues that caused headaches. APS has been able to meet our needs accurately and provides good and personalized training to help our organization maximally utilize the system. When you do have an issue or question, the chat/telephone support is very responsive and helpful.

Pros

The software is easy to use and provides you with a good system for tracking your payroll needs. APS deals with and know non-profits, so knows our needs and is able to accurately meet them.

Cons

We did experience an issue in working to setup accruals for our vacation plans but it seems that the messages I was sending weren't getting through, so there must have been a glitch in the system somewhere.

Takes Care of Our Payroll

If we are late getting information to APS, they are on the phone checking on us and there to help with any problem we are having. Never any problem, we just are slow to get our numbers in.

Pros

Being an interior designer I do not have a head for numbers. APS relieves me of that headache. We send them the numbers and our payroll is taken care of ASAP.

Cons

There are none. They take care of all our payroll needs, in a professional way.

Highly recommend APS!

Our employees have taken more ownership in managing their time and updating information. It has taken us from a manual process to being much more efficient.

Pros

I really like the layout and functionality of APS. We received thorough training and can click the "chat now" button any time we run into a question. Our employees love how easy the e-self serve site is to look at their available time and to request time off.

Cons

It has taken a bit to learn the reporting features, but the process has not been frustrating just a learning curve.

APS never disappoints

I really enjoy APS!

Pros

Like other APS softwares, this also helps when it comes to managing over 200 employees and keeping track of their accruals and benefits.

Cons

Saving some default settings would make things a lot easier when I sign back in. Overall, I really can't complain when it comes to APS.

Easy to use!

Pros

I love this product that it makes it easy for our employees to be able to change their w4s without coming into the office. Saves everyones time.
Easy to navigate around the system seeing sick/ vacation pay as well.

Cons

One thing I would say that they could work on its maybe making the buttons a bit more user friendly. I do have a bit of trouble seeing sometimes, or my eyes are strained from looking at spreadsheets all day, so it would be nice if things were easier to see.

Pros

We use to manage our payroll in house which took a significant amount of time, even with a small number of employees. Switching to APS helped save time and allowed for a easier and more efficient way of tracking payroll. There are tons of different reports you can run and everything is very user friendly. If there is ever a question on anything our customer service agent is quick to respond and help. It's been great having all our employee information in one place!

Cons

A few instances of frustration where some of our benefits have not calculated correctly. I'm not sure if there was lack of communication upon setup or what happened. Anytime we have ran into this APS saw that a solution was made.

I love giving employees access to online enrollment and access to benefit information. The online document storage is perfect for our needs. No more digging through storage boxes looking for an old enrollment form!

Cons

I wish the benefit admin system and the payroll system were tied together. Instead we have to enter the same information on both sides of the platform.

I love APS

We did extensive research before choosing APS as our payroll processing company. APS has met our needs.

Pros

APS has reduced the time spent on payroll from the employee level to the administrator. The system runs fast and efficiently. The support team is quick to respond and very courteous. APS is very knowledgeable concerning the payroll laws and keeps us in compliance.

Cons

Some reporting limitations. We may need to run several reports to get all the information needed. A few reports have some minor rounding issues. Any manual processes can also skew reporting.
