The system is intuitive The setup can be done without technical expertise The adjustments to the infrastructure are as easy as playing Lego, except, it's a digital platform The team is responsive, responsible and respectful

Cons:

Nothing yet, and I am condifent that even if I did find something that needed some enhancements, the ClayHR team will definitely appreciate the feedback. 1% incremental improvement exceeds perfection.

ClayHR is a comprehensive HR tool. It is easily customisable and the best feature about it is that it is user-friendly. No glimicks, clean and functional menus and ribbons.

Reasons for switching to ClayHR

I made the switch based on favourable evalutions based on cost (economic driver) and user friendliness (accessibility to people even with limited technology exposure)

We've been using this platform as a global organisation and have been impressed by both the system itself and the team behind it. What stands out most is their willingness to listen. They genuinely take client feedback on board and are open to learning from their customers, which has resulted in ongoing improvements that make a real difference. The platform covers a wide range of HR functions in one place, which is a huge advantage. Rather than juggling multiple systems, we can manage various aspects of the employee lifecycle through a single platform, with the different modules working together seamlessly. Another major benefit is the flexibility. The system can be tailored to suit your organisation's specific processes and requirements, rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all approach. As a global business, we've also appreciated having dedicated account management support available in our time zone. That accessibility makes collaboration much easier and ensures issues are resolved quickly. It's also clear that they are committed to staying current with technology trends. Their ongoing investment in AI and the development of additional features and integrations demonstrates a focus on continuous innovation. No system is perfect, and from an administrator's perspective there is a learning curve. The platform is powerful, but that means there are quite a few back-end settings and configurations to understand before everything runs exactly as intended. It isn't always as simple as clicking a button and expecting the desired outcome immediately. That said, once the foundational setup is in place, the functionality and efficiencies gained are well worth the effort. Overall, this is a comprehensive and adaptable HR platform backed by a team that is responsive, innovative, and genuinely interested in helping their clients succeed.

Comprehensive HR platform that brings multiple people processes together in one system, reducing the need for separate tools and improving overall visibility. Highly configurable and adaptable to different organisational structures, workflows, and local requirements. Ability to create country-specific menus and user experiences, allowing employees and managers to see information that is relevant to their location and legislative environment. Responsive account management team that is available within our time zone, making support and collaboration much easier for a global workforce. Strong commitment to continuous improvement, with regular enhancements and a willingness to incorporate client feedback into future development. Forward-thinking approach to technology, including the introduction of AI-enabled features and additional modules that expand the platform's capabilities. Leave calculations can be complex in a global environment, but the team worked closely with us to validate calculations and ensure they aligned with our policies and local requirements, giving us confidence in the system's outputs. Once implemented and configured correctly, the platform provides a robust and scalable solution that supports a wide range of HR processes.

Cons:

There is a learning curve for administrators, particularly during implementation and initial setup. Understanding the various back-end configurations takes time before the system can be fully leveraged. Some country-specific legislative requirements can be challenging to accommodate. For example, leave management rules in Morocco, where leave does not forfeit in the same way as other jurisdictions, require additional configuration and remain an area where the platform could continue to evolve. The breadth of functionality can sometimes feel overwhelming for new administrators, and organisations should allocate sufficient time for training and familiarisation. As with many highly configurable systems, achieving the desired outcome often depends on setting up the underlying rules correctly rather than simply activating a feature.

One Platform, Every HR Need, Zero Headaches!

If I were to sum up my overall experience in one sentence, it would be "ClayHR gave me back my time, reduced my stress, and allowed me to shift from being buried in administrative tasks to actually focusing on what HR should be about: supporting and growing our people. Before ClayHR, I was spending more time managing processes than managing people. Payroll took days, leave tracking was a constant back-and-forth, and performance reviews felt like a chore for everyone involved. ClayHR changed all of that. It streamlined every process, connected every module, and gave me a level of efficiency and confidence I didn't think was possible with a single platform. From automated birthday and work anniversary reminders that strengthened our workplace culture, to the Ask HR feature that empowered employees to help themselves, to seamless document uploads that made us virtually paperless. ClayHR didn't just improve how I work, it improved how our entire organisation experiences HR. If you're an HR professional still juggling multiple systems and drowning in admin, take it from someone who's been there. ClayHR is the solution you didn't know you needed, and once you have it, you'll wonder how you ever managed without it.

ClayHR brings every core HR function into a single, unified platform. It replaced the chaos with clarity. As an HR Manager handling everything from recruitment to payroll, I used to spend a significant part of my day switching between disconnected tools, updating multiple spreadsheets, and manually piecing information together just to complete routine tasks. ClayHR brought all of that into one unified platform, and that single change transformed the way I work. What used to take days (example payroll) now takes minutes, and nothing falls through the cracks anymore.

Cons:

Having to approve timesheets. Though very essential and it's just a click of a button, I feel lazy approving it.

Cons:

Because it has so many modules (performance, leave, recruitment etc.), it can feel overwhelming at first to configure everything.

Roster Management - What I like least about Clay HR is the roster management feature. A more user-friendly interface with easier editing options, better visibility of schedules, and quicker updates would improve the overall experience.
