Compease is a complete cloud-based salary administration solution used by businesses of all sizes across industries such as retail and manufacturing. The solution allows HR teams to facilitate the analysis, design and execution of their salary administration strategy by balancing internal equity and external market competitiveness from salary data that is updated annually.

Positions are evaluated using multiple factors which are then assigned a grade within a salary structure. The solution also allows users to automatically model out various merit possibilities based on performance, compa-ratio and range penetration and demonstrates their financial impact to the budget without affecting existing pay structures.

In addition, a dashboard is offered to communicate an overview of the system, an allocation of merit, jobs by classification and company performance. The reporting capabilities provide the information needed to make decisions by delivering access to compensation intelligence.

Configurability: Compease offers a very high degree in bringing the twinkling factor into customized compensation plans. Insight-Driven Data: Through the incorporation of market data with a deeper and detailed analysis, Compease helps companies to arrive at the most informed compensation decisions. Scale: From small to big companies, Compease will suit them all.

Cons:

Ok Compensation Solution

It is just ok. There are a million payroll/compensation solutions and this is about the middle of the road. If I had been in position when this was selected, I would have advocated for a different solution.

I really like the merit increase planning tool. That definitely is a time saver and helps to streamline our process flow. The projections tools are helpful as well, especially in budget crunch times.

Cons:

It is advertised with "robust" data analysis tools. I certainly wouldn't consider this solution as "robust." It's just ok.

Compease has been a great resource for setting and tracking salary ranges.

We have a more accurate salary range for all of our positions since we no longer have to match a position to a title in a book. The system allows us to be more efficient when providing salary information to managers.

The website is very user friendly. You can either choose to use one of the sample job descriptions available on the website or use one of your own to assess the salary range for a position which is beneficial. The customer service has been excellent.
