ClearCompany is a software system that works for human resources (HR) and recruiting teams across both public and private industries.

The ClearCompany Talent Alignment Platform connects recruiting, new employee onboarding and performance management. Their Applicant Tracking System includes features for requisition templates and bulk emails, advanced corporate site integration, mobile career sites, social sharing tools, referral management and one-click background checks.

ClearCompany’s automated reporting not only ensures that clients maintain full EEO and OFCCP compliance, but also provides over 100 additional reports that track everything from hiring manager interview rates to cost per hire. Free custom reporting can also be developed. The onboarding solution automates the new hire process, with the option to integrate I-9 and E-verify, manage internal tasks and approve offer letters. Performance management allows for unlimited standard and 360 reviews, with automated emails and reporting options.

Their customer support is incredible. When I first signed up to do a demo of this product they answered all questions I had. Very user-friendly with a ton of functionality. One of the best things about it the ability to track your applicants through the process very easily. Being in staffing that is very very helpful!

Cons

They don't have pre-recorded demos or sandbox accounts. So if you want to demo the product, you have to have a call with a representative. This can be a pain as a lot of companies don't allow that, could deter folks from considering them. Another thing is ClearCompany is more intended for individual organizations and isn't as great for smaller staffing/recruiting firms like myself.

I have used other applicant tracking software solutions before but they were often cumbersome to use or never had quite the right functionality that I wanted. I love ClearCompany so much because it truly has everything I need in an easy to use system. AND just when I think it couldn't be better they come up with new enhancements! I have, and will continue to recommend ClearCompany ATS to anyone who has recruiting responsibilities, especially if they are a government contractor!

Pros

Very intuitive and user friendly to use. Various ways to access information and sort information to see what you need. The Clear Company team is extremely responsive to providing help but also listening to suggestions for future improvements. Their support is top notch - from online training videos, to online chat and a customer success manager who not only cares but follows up (and not like other companies who will reach out when they want to sell me a new feature). I also attended their 2017 Talent Conference in Boston, which was really a great learning opportunity as well as to connect with my

Cons

I would not say there are any cons, but we live in a time where instant gratification has become the norm and expectation. There have been times when I have waited 30 - 60 min for a response to my online chat request. There are new reports I would like to have, but I know their reporting function just went under an overhaul and I am working on moving to the new platform soon, so I am excited to see what the new reporting capabilities are. The only other improvement I could suggest right now is to make this highly capable software to be better suited for a global company. We have business in India and ClearCompany has helped us to utilize their system for our recruiter in India, but there is still opportunity to improve the system for a company doing business overseas.

Pros

Better than XLS, postings look nice on our website. Pushes jobs to Indeed, Glassdoor, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter for free.

Cons

Poor scheduling capabilities, candidate management not efficient, the tool does not offer pre-populated templates in which to disposition. candidates communicate with candidates, everything has to be built.

Very attractive yet stay away until their software works without issues. After doing demos with many other ATSs and much research, I was duped by the number of reviews online by reputable sources.

Pros

UP-To-Date on many (almost all) industry features, such as a robust reporting module and interview scheduling module, even video interview scheduling and recording etc.
Somewhat easy to use interface

Cons

Terribly glitchy. I'm constantly calling in with issues to be told that its a software glitch that needs to be investigated and patched - which seldom happens. These glitches are usually fundamental, such as a utterly broken reporting module. I have not ever been able to get a healthy report on any metrics - ever! Our uses couldn't login after we bought and implemented the program, because of a glitch that ultimately was resolved by Clearco internally building users for our thousands of employees.

ClearCompany is very easy to learn and use. It has a good dashboard and some great features to save you time!

Pros

I love the scheduling functionality. It makes it quick and easy to schedule my phone interviews by selecting my availability up front and letting the candidates choose what works best from them without a lot of back and forth. We like the option to send video interview questions as well.

Cons

We end up with a lot of duplicate applications and there doesn't seem to be a good way to merge or combine duplicates. We also have a lot of technical difficulties with candidates completing the video questions.

The help section great! I enjoy the JD library. Talent University has wonderful information I can utilize. I like calendar interface on the home page.

The site is not that intuitive to work through as a new user.The format of the online training I didn't like and was hard to follow. The watch and do....hard to take notes and then do and remember and not enough timeframe to work....

If you don't have much experience with ATS systems it is not bad, especially for the money.
If you have used multiple ATS then this one will be very entry level.

Pros

- The ATS is pretty easy to use
- I love that managers can sign in and view the candidates themselves
- It integrated with our payroll system well

- Aside from the ATS the admin side is not very user-friendly

Clear Company works to make improvements on its product, and functionality. While it does not offer some of the immense details that other products may offer- this suits our companies needs perfectly. I found that when researching other options (some of which were very expensive) - we would not utilize everything that came with the price tag. Clear Company was and still is the best option for us. It gets the job done without getting bogged down in things that we don't use.

Pros

Easy to learn and use, can build my own job reqs and apps, or the support team will also do for you. Easy to teach and train others to use, has a large number of standard report options, or you can have one customized to suit your needs. This has been one of the best decisions our company has made!

Cons

There are several functional niceties that I would like to see and have recommended. The support team keeps track of all requests and works to implement changes in product updates.

Pros

I can only speak for the Performance Management and Recruiting Platforms. Overall it is Clean and intuitive! Candidates and employee can get quick and custom emails with automatic reminders if needed! Absolutly outstanding customer service from implementation manger to the help desk team.

Cons

I often feel the system runs slow and other team members feel the same. It isn't a major issue. Printing reports and other content rich pages can occasionally be a challenge

I like how easy it is to use when searching through the jobs. I also appreciate the fact that you are able to post the jobs on your company website and then apply with ClearChannel.

Setup was very easy and efficient. The layout of the program was organized and easy to navigate which is great for new users. Customer Support is absolutely amazing! They helped immediately and were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Cons

You can't customize the font color or add any graphics, which is a bummer. They also don't have any type of demo on the program to better understand how to use it.

It was great to streamline our efficiency and was outstanding as a tool for performance evaluations. I really look for a sleek and clean design/user interface with any software and that was one of the things that attracted me to ClearCompany. It saves our HR department a significant amount of time and added value in some areas that we didn't quite identify needing it. I thought the customer service was great and I always had the help I needed when I needed it.

Pros

The best part was that it seemed easy to use for both the recruiter and the applicant. As a user, the calendar interface on the home page was clean and easily managed, which I used a lot. My team also parsed a lot of resumes in which seemed to be fairly consistent and easy. Overall, for the price I think it's a great investment for a company but I would recommend taking advantage of as many features as possible to get the most bang for your buck.

Cons

My company is smaller than most so some of the features seemed like they were for larger companies that had streamlined a lot of their processes. I use ADP for payroll and there wasn't really direct integration which was annoying. I like to create a lot of customizable reports and had trouble doing this without the help of the team.

Pros

Fantastic customer service support when setting up the tool for use. Really impressive. The tool is easy to use and has most features of interest and significance.

Previously we used a series of spreadsheets and word documents to track our talent acquisition process. This was a pain to manage. ClearCompany took all of the hassle away by giving us a centralized system to track an applicant through the entire process. We are able to make notes, send applicants to other hiring teams, and even take them through the onboarding process.

Cons

Since we don't need all of the features the interface can be a little overwhelming. Which means there is a slight learning curve.

Cons
