What I like most about iCIMS is that their client service is by far some of the best I have ever encountered with a vendor. Anytime you need help their client support line is always available to help out and I have not had to wait longer than 5 minutes or so for an answer over the phone. Additionally, when you open a ticket with them on an issue you are having, they send you email correspondences for every update they have to share, which I appreciate because you are always in the know on how to move forward with issues you are having.

Cons

What I like least about iCIMS is that their focus is mainly as an applicant tracking system and not a full-service system that includes features like payroll, performance management, succession planning, etc. iCIMS has really mastered being a very reliable applicant tracking system, but they have room to improve moving forward as a full-service provider for companies.

It is a good tracking system that works way better than the alternative paper version of applicants!

Pros

Being able to review info quickly & easily while keeping them specific to certain jobs & all jobs. We can tag one person in multiple areas and have their info be sent to the hiring managers easily.

Cons

Sometimes it is hard to find a particular person when you have multiple with the same name, but it does have features that allow for a more specific search.

This is a great product. As someone who has experience with several large ATS platforms, there doesn't seem to be a single product that does everything, but this one seems to come the closest by far.

Pros

I really like that it can be easily customized to suit our needs, and can manage the recruitment pipeline for a wide variety of candidate types and requisitions. It also provides many data points and intuitive reporting capabilities. It has a nice, clean look and feel to the UI. They provide strong customer support whenever there are questions or issues. It integrates seamlessly with many other vendors and HR products.

Cons

They could make a few improvements. It feels like sometimes there are a few too many "clicks" required to drill down to the info needed. Also, it would be great if they could include a feature to view the "last viewed candidates," or "last viewed requisitions." It would help speed things up when trying to move quickly between multiple candidates and requisitions.

I thoroughly enjoy iCIMS. iCIMS is customizable to your organizations needs. Easy to use platform. The customer services is AMAZING.

Cons

The only con I have is that you aren't able to create email groups to make it easy to send an email to your team without adding each in as a recipient. The reporting was also difficult at first, but after I went to their training- much easier!

I like being able to search by name or by job title to find who I'm looking for. It's nice to be able to view a person's profile and once selected to hire I can have all their documents together online.

Cons

I work at a place that does a ton of re-hires. For us it has been a pain to require people who come back every summer to remember their login name and password and re-do the current years paperwork. They end up making a new profile which makes it even more confusing for us.

The customer service was amazing. Any issues we were having, we would email or call and it would be handled right away.

Cons

The implementation took a long time and the reporting was difficult to get information from. Wasn't user friendly when it came to reporting.

if it gets you resumes like it should - I'd recommend it. The reporting is not as malleable as I'd like either..

Pros

easy to use, figure out, search jobs/candidates/users within the system. pretty user-friendly. it's nice that you can create a library of forms (you pay per form that's stored in the system), the qualifying/screening question bank and the quicklinks/shortcuts on the left that you should pin - that's a nice feature so you can see who's applied recently regardless of the job

Cons

we're not getting resumes like we have with other systems - now that we know this, I've heard that it's hit or miss when companies use iCIMS - they either get a lot of resumes (bc it's supposed to post to several job boards for you) or it gets very few. iCIMS can't really help or figure it out either - just luck of the draw if a company will get the postings/resumes like they expect (in other words, ask how to do a test trial to see how many resumes you get for a normal job you post all the time before buying)

Aside from that just have to remember to hit the refresh button after updating things and start from the beginning (dashboard) for it to show the updated info. it'll still update but you won't see it without the refresh and going back to the dashboard.

Great software, very easy to use. Has a lot of great feature that make the entire recruiting process seem streamline. One easy location for all applicants to apply. Easy to manage workflow to ensure all forms are completed correctly. ICIMS is a very robust tech savvy system that has a lot of capabilities. It has customer specific add-on options and the overall functi8onality is great. The reporting features are great and allow you to run specific report data. The libraries will store your job orders and other information pertinent to your position that makes it easy to use for future reference. Email tracking is a great tool. Lastly, they have a lot of pre-recorded training and webinars to help you to learn the platform. Applicants have the option to apply for multiple positions after initial profile is created.

Cons

The cost is so high. I have found other ATS services that are significantly cheaper. The time it takes to have the entire implementation go live is longer than expected and overall iCIMS could be more price effective.

This system helps house all our talent for the projects my company is working on. It's useful and easily accessed anywhere, which is very important as we have many remote employees on our team.

Pros

I enjoy the customer service help desk and how the representatives are very knowledgeable and patient. In addition, the layout of the iCIMS platform is very user-friendly. For instance, reports can be found in the "reporting center".

Cons

My company requires a lot of customization and iCIMS can't offer a lot of options. For instance, iForms have somewhat of a rigid format that make it a bit difficult to customize to better fit our company.

Pros

Pros

There is a lot it can do with regards to sourcing, recruiting, and on-boarding. They have already done a lot of the leg work for vendor searches also.

Cons

The admin aspects of the platform has a steep learning curve. Learning the system as the admin requires a person to start thinking within the levels of talent acquisition versus as just one process. The number of clicks for tasks is also way to high, needs simplified.

Cons

To format e-mail messaging in a better graphic format one must know a little HTML to make it better as the basic editing tool is more text driven.

Pros

The ease of use - the ability to gather data from program to utilize the reporting function - ICIMS offers the best customer service of any software program we use within our company. Other departments are jealous of our customer service delivery.

Cons

Cannot think of one! I have done consulting work for other companies who use various ATS systems and they are complicated and do not allow the user to customize in the manner that ICIMS does.

It's very user friendly, it takes half the time it used to take me in order to post, get candidates and get them onboarding! Best move we ever made switching over to iCIMS Recruit/Onboard!

Cons

It would be nice if managers got an email alert once candidates have completed 100% of the onboarding tasks rather than having to go in and check daily to see if they have completed their tasks. I realize there are reports which are great but a simple notification saying "Joe Smith has completed their tasks", would be awesome!

Data is available at our fingertips! It's easy to use for our applicants as well and we feel that we are yielding more and higher quality candidates through icims.

Cons

It takes a little while (3 - 4 months) to really grasp the reporting functionality. But once we figured it out we have so much data readily available - it's amazing!

Being able to customize the software to meet our needs and the ability to create different dashboards for people within the company.

Pros

The ability to customize the system to meet your companies needs. We have implemented Hiring Manager portals and integrated with one of their partner background and drug screen companies.

Cons

The reporting system can be a little tricky at first when creating them but you start to get the hang of it.

Excellent performance, support and results from using this product in out Talent Acquisition process. We get results.

Pros

I have lots of experience with recruiting platforms, both corporate and staffing environments. I love the ease of use, great functionality and it is highly configurable. The workflow components make it easy to scale a good process for efficiency and results.

Cons

I have used over 10 different ATS tools in my career and been part of implementing them all. With that said, there are none that are "perfect". This one is the closest. The calendaring/scheduling function is a bit clunky and needs more functionality especially self service.

API and connectability to other systems. Searching and reporting are very robust and easy to export. Mobile friendly for candidates. Dashboard brings critical items to your attention throughout the day. Customer service is great at resolving most issues on the first call.

Cons

Experience for recruiters on a smartphone could be better. iForms can be difficult to work with. APIs can be a little pricey.

This application let's you rely your human resources on it, avoiding possible human mistakes and the salary of the person in charge. Also let's you keep a more visual track of the people you are considering to recruit

Cons

Even thought technology it's a great thing to save up in human resources, there is some jobs where person to person conversation is needed in order to really know what kind of person you are recruiting, besides that it's a complicated software that would need dedicated time until you really get the hang of it.
