Jobvite Hire is a cloud-based applicant tracking system (ATS) that enables users to manage hiring processes including job distribution, screening, interviewing and sending out offers. It’s suitable for midsize and enterprise recruiting companies.

Jobvite enables company to build a branded career site for candidates. The solution offers a variety of tools for managing the onboarding experience and compliance.

Jobvite includes a customer relationship management (CRM) and recruitment marketing module that allows users to build talent pools of passive candidates that can be sent branded campaigns and communications.

Jobvite’s ATS was named a leader in the "Forrester Wave for Talent Acquisition, Q3 2015."

    The only good thing is the customer service support as there are so many problems with this software they are really fast and efficient, however many problems do not have a solution as the tool it is not flexible.

    Cons

    This software needs so much improvement. It is not user friendly, neither good for reporting, you can´t customize the tool and adapt to the company needs. As a recruiter, we can modify the software alerts, so we receive notifications for every new update, change, movement happening, so we are full of notifications daily. It would be much better if we could have a simple view of the positions and have a way to organize and prioritize per position. The reports need to improve quite a lot, and it is impossible to do an internal search of candidates of different positions or from other years.

    Easy set up and usage, but it might feel a bit clumsy. The user interface is good and easily navigable, it enhances the experience a bit.

    Cons

    Features are not yet fully developed, there is a lot of latency and sometimes it hangs in the middle of an operation which can be frustrating.

    I would recommend Jobvite to any one in my network!

    Pros

    Jobvite has so many platforms available for integration. We currently use Jobvite for our Talent Acquisition team and also for our new hire onboarding. Both of these features have improved our processes. The customer service is also EXCELLENT!

    Cons

    The system can sometimes be finicky and changes will happen with little to no explanation. Our customer service rep is always able and willing to help resolve the issues, but it would be helpful if they didn't happen in the first place!

    Very user-friendly, easy to navigate, useful to have links to our Outlook calendars and email. Love that you get email prompts for each application to avoid missing new candidates

    I find the calendar/scheduling function a bit clunky - it's not easy to adjust the time for some reason.

    The best is that I can send messages in bulk as well as set-up auto reject candidates who don't match the requirements that I'm looking for.

    There was an odd delay with Linkedin but I think that's now been fixed.

    I was asked to implement Jobvite at my company. We were a small tech company that was expecting to grow rapidly and needed an applicant tracking system that could scale with us. Once Jobvite was implemented I was the administrator. Recruiters often came to me frustrated because of the complexity of the tool.

    Pros

    Jobvite does a great job at putting your open positions on your company website and making it look very professional. The applicant experience is simple! Applying for a job via Jobvite is quick and easy. Jobvite makes sharing jobs opening simple.

    Cons

    From an administrator perspective Jobvite was very complicated. The navigation was tricky and time consuming. Jobvite had many capabilities, but figuring them out was hard. Customer support was not very helpful.

    One of the areas Jobvite does a fantastic job in is resume management, including safeguards against duplicate candidates.

    JobVite from a users perspective

    I was able to help me get hired at my current job and I have been able to get others jobs with my company as well using Jobvite.

    Pros

    Using Jobvite made my own hiring experience easy along with sending out referral for open positions as well. Jobvite will track the application from start to finish and allows for lots of clarity and visibility. This software will also track who is associated with a lead/referral so you can pay out referral bonus to the right employee.

    Cons

    The user interface could be a little confusing. Also sending out jobvite through email sometimes can give issue. I have been able to get a workaround every time but the only flaw I have noticed is sending out a jobvite via email.

    Jobvite is based upon Continuous Candidate Engagement (CCE), which aims to modernize the recruitment space. It is a candidate focused recruiting model which has so many pros to have a look upon. It helps companies recruit candidates with meaningful experiences at the correct time, in the right way, from the very first look. Jobvite is built on a platform which uses automation and intelligence to increase speed, cost-effectiveness, and quality of talent requisition. Moreover, you will be amazed to know that it manage resumes, prevent candidate duplicity, tracks applicant, provide notification and alerts, and so on. It is user-friendly as well. Jobvite provides a great dashboard and user interface, which makes it easy to use and manipulate. It is integrated with G Suite, which helps to schedule interviews and responding from emails seamlessly. Jobvite helps to expand the talent search socially by posting the positions out to your twitter/WhatsApp/Facebook/Instagram network.

    Cons

    Although Jobvite seems to be a boon in Modern Recruitment Process, it has some disadvantages as well. Firstly, it is an application which is not refined as it contains so many errors and bugs. System lags frequently, and sometimes over filter candidates. Despite being run by automation and intelligence, it is much more a manually operated system. Long clunky log in process is also highlighted as a disadvantage. There are some issues with its upgrades and performances. Its customer support feature isn't functioning as smooth as desired. Another problem with Jobvite is that it is more of a Requisition focused rather than candidate focused. Thus, finding the real candidates is somewhat a tough job with Jobvite!

    It was a useful and excellent substitute for the spreadsheet to administer to clients. It works very well in the programming of interviews and social recruitment. evolves constantly and that makes the software look more attractive

    the platform sometimes stays shaved. It was difficult for me to contact the customer service. and the reports are a bit basic and inaccurate

    Most companies overspend on job ads. They think that if you go with one of the "Monsters," you'll get a better applicant response. That's simply not true. Use Jobvite to recruit stronger candidates and fill your positions faster.

    As an employee, we use this to get referrals. I love how it can just post to social medias very easily.
    Also I like the onboarding list. Even tho we don't really follow it that much, but good to have a list to follow for new employees.

    Since I am not really a recruiter, I don't really use it daily. From the view of a regular employee, I think the site does its job well. I don't have much to complain.

    I was using Jobvite in my previous organizations and it was one of the best applicant tracking system. My job was to get an ATS for the organization and i tried multiple applications before using Jobvite. It has a very smooth UI and you'll be able to screen through candidates and job updates very easily on dashboard.
    You can put reminders for yourself, also schedule interviews directly through the app, don't have to go and compose and email to candidates. Also, it schedules your follow up calls and events which is very helpful for recruiters.

    Cons

    Little expensive. I really don't have much in cons for Jobvite as it gives what i required for and i was pretty satisfied by this product after using it for 2 years.

    I really liked the email functionality; it was great to set templates and to not have to write each candidate correspondence from scratch. The software is also quite robust - there were a lot of functionalities we didn't use but I could see how they could be useful to other users/companies.

    Cons

    I like being able to call in with a question and to get it answered right away; customer service was good but it was not as quick as I liked since I had to submit my questions via email.

    Jobvite is very user friendly and makes it easy for us to train new employees on. I really like the side bar that walks you through anything that you are not sure on. I am also a fan of Jobvite Publisher, great to have social media posts while you are sleeping... set and forget.

    Cons

    It's need to move a little quicker with the times! Needs to have text message capabilities.. we should be able to text our candidates through the system... we should be sending an auto text 1 hr before their interview with address link and 1 hour after interview thanking them for their time. It should also have option for a Bot Recruiting assistant... one would be scheduling interviews and chat feature to pre-screen our candidates. Similar to systems like textRecruit and Paradox Olivia... do not like that we have to go out to additional vendors.
