Super easy to use and navigate

Pros

I was on-boarded with my new company they used namely. I love how easy it is to navigate and request my time off days or any other requests I may need. I really like the tree chart it shows on who everyone reports to. Selecting my benefits was also really easy to do as well.

Cons

I wish there was maybe a messaging system where I could live chat to one of our HR reps because they are in a satellite office so communication is hard sometimes when trying to deal with discreet hr matters.

The best Human Resource Management System.

Pros

one needs little or no supervision in executing this software. it also has a very friendly interface which makes it very easy to use.

Cons

The cost is a common issue an can however be reviewed to help bring more people to using this software. they wouldn't regret it as i haven't since i started using this great platform.

HR Namely

My overall experience with Namely has been great as an employee and communicating with managers to approve time offs or seeing when others are gone on the calendar!

Pros

The Pros I like about Namely is how easy it is for employees to use to ask time off or get resources for benefits and use as a mini social media platform for staff to encourage anniversaries and birthday recognition.

Cons

The least thing I like about this software is the price of the program is overpriced for what you do with less than 50 employees.

There was a slight learning curve when using, and the interface didn't necessarily make it easy to find things. However, after a brief training from our HR department, I found it very easy and useful!

Great HR software for mid size companies

Pros

Its a user friendly platform. Namely integrates with our ATS and it saves a lot of onboarding process. Great customer service. It helps me to check my paystubs, benefits everything in one place. There are also social feeds which shows your coworkers birthday's, anniversaries etc. Its a great product!

Namely is great!

Pros

My company recently switched to Namely and we are really liking it. Not only does our team run payroll and benefits through Namely, we are able to send out monthly/quarterly surveys and keep track of all of our employee's HR information.

Cons

I would say that the only negative thing I have to say about Namely is that it was quite a learning curve getting used to the platform. I think that Namely has so many capabilities that their platform can seem a bit daunting, but after learning how to properly use everything, it's great!

Easy and sustainable.

Namely is simple and easy to use, it requires a few improvements that seem to be coming soon. It still has some glitches that need an urgent fix, but with the few conversations I've had with the Customer Support team, I can tell that Namely will greatly improve in future versions.

Pros

It is a straightforward and easy to use software, the user interface is the simplest one in the market of HR Management tools. It is a good example of the Integration between Payroll and HR Systems, and might be useful in the Linkbuilding bussiness with a few enhancements and addons.

The Customer Service is great and the people involved are very kind and competent.

Cons

The customization of the processes is not easy to implement, and tends to be tiresome, and in many cases it slows down the navigation.

It is currently lacking a proper auto-sync feature.

It does not have the E-signature feature for current employees.

The performance management module has a complicated nature.

There could be a better integration between the HR and the Payroll modules. As I explained in the Pros, it is easy to use but it could be highly improved in terms of pragmatic functionalities over the user friendly interface.

Convenient software but terrible password reset directions

My overall experience with namely has been frustrating because a password reset. You follow all the directions to reset your password and it never worked. I spent hours and days trying to get into the software.

Pros

Once I was able to login to my account the software provided all the information of my work history paycheck stubs everything. I was able to download my paycheck stubs and keep them.

Cons

When I needed to reset my password to get into the program I had a terrible time finding my work information I can never get it to reset the password. I had to find a phone number actually talk to somebody with the company to help them walk me through resetting my password it was not easy to use.

A great system for all things HR!

Overall, very pleased with Namely's services and support.

Pros

Our company has offices in Canada and the US, and we use Namely as our HR system: onboarding, performance reviews, time-off requests, employee data tracking, and payroll (for the US only). It is great to have a single system for all of these functions. I am most involved in the payroll side, and Namely makes the actual payroll processing easy. They have good reports, as well. Their customer support has been responsive to our needs over the years.

Cons

The performance review data entry doesn't allow formatting (bold, bullets, etc.), and the output report has weird spacing that doesn't look good on paper and wastes paper.
