Easy to use benefits and personnel system

Pros

I really like that, as an employee, I was able to input all my paperwork/documents/etc as well as enroll in benefits, right on the website.

Cons

The layout's not hard to use, but it's not anything special to write home about.

Awesome for HR needs

Being new to this, i love it so far and cannot wait to get the support I have been needing for some time!

Pros

This has been a great asset to our company, we are in the early stages of testing it out for us but I love what I see so far. Payroll is always a pain and this seems to be easy so far!

Cons

Customizing more options would be better, but since we are new to this I may not understand all the options and how to use fully.

Truly dislike this product

UI appears to be easy to look at for employees.
Analytics finally improved out of beta.
I honestly have nothing else good to say.

We we sold a full price beta product in July 2017. Implementation, bugs, carrier feeds taking months. Overall, a nightmare. Of the dozens of Namely employees I have had contact with, I believe 3 are still with the company?

They are charging the same high price but decreasing their service level to downright awful. Email request response can take days or not get a response at all. Or multiple reps respond with DIFFERENT RESOLUTIONS!? Calling is a ten minute hold time. They are decreasing their service levels by the day, pushing payroll tax maintence back to the customer, I have been without a dedicated CSM for two+ months now.

I cannot wait to be done with this contract and this product.

Cons

Their systems rarely work correctly which means you have to reach put to their support team. Their support team doesnt seem to know how to aolve problems. They will mark your ticket resolved with no resolution which means you have to continue contacting them for the same problem.

Pros

Namely is a super cool software that gets the Job done. Very easy to use. Very easy to navigate. Needs a little supervision at the beginning though but very easy to use when u get used to all HR processes in one platform. Will easily recommend this software.

Cons

This is my own opinion. And the only con I have has to do with the cost. As far as am concerned Namely cost is a bit too high. No matter the cost am still going to use this software. It can however be reviewed to help a lot more people come on board because it’s a great software.

User friendly and easy to navigate

Pros

I enjoyed using the onboarding feature. Made it easy to onboard new hires quickly and smoothly (track events, sign employee documents and agreements, etc.). We also use it for payroll, benefits and performance review. This all-in-one system will enable one or two people to manage an entire people ops process efficiently.

Cons

Mobile app experience could be better. It can be a little clunky and certain documents (ie. pay stubs) can be hard to see on the app and would require me to open it on my desktop instead. Time off workflow could be improved as well.

Namely may be good for small companies who are remaining stagnant in headcount.

Pros

The real-time reporting that Namely can produce is helpful and it's easy to use. You can grab any data in any format and pull it out of the system immediately. Other systems you have to wait or would have to have a new report built to your exact specifications.

Cons

As a tech and data company, we pride ourselves in knowing and using the best technology. Namely is not an intuitive or simple system. They also aren't able to scale with companies, as we grew from 100 employees to 1200 over night, the system caused many headaches in terms of functionality and user experience.

Not worth your time and Money

Pros

The sales persons know how to pitch the products to the point where they will convince you that they have all you need when they actually plan to have you build them yourself. Ideally, they have a good idea of SaaS Ecosystem which does not exist until you start using the skeleton. Even better, they will tell you that they will be available 24/7 and come to you in person whenever needed, this is only true until you get to be their customers and then 3 months later their sales team will contact your CEO to sell him the software again.

Cons

See my comment in the Pros. Just a warning, their implementation, which is guaranteed to be 60 days actually took 6 months for us, and still not complete.

Cons

Its a good to have a product like this but i believe there is always a scope of improvement.

Pros

1. I personally found it to be a great for an individual to communicate with an organisation.
2. Very user friendly and customizable.

Cons

1. Individual cannot get a clear idea about the holidays since there is no intigeration with google calendar.
2. If the organization wills to provide some appraisal to annindividual it is quite confusing within this.

The fact that it is fairly intuitive when you get into the system and the general ability to customize is nice.

Cons

The interface leaves a lot to be desired and the ability to report out on certain fields is limited and clunky. Creating reports is more difficult than it should be and certainly is compared to other HRIS vendors. Namely also doesn't have a robust recognition or performance portal that allows for badges, feedback to be shared, etc. for enhancing PM forms.
