Pros

i love that you can clearly see on both desktop and mobile view your time card and hours put in, i also love how it shows you the pay period for that week

Cons

i dont like that the mobile viewing is not as user-friendly and i cannot figure out how to punch out on the app

Payroll and deductions

We have been able to easily load employee personal data including their dependents and payroll deductions. It allowed us to free up valuable time and not have to key in the information manually.

Pros

The ease of use to upload spreadsheets with payroll deductions and employee data.

Cons

To get data out, it takes some work to get it in a useable format or a custom format for a third party.

Pros

Pretty straight forward operation of the system. Time clocks all sync with employee payroll processing.

Cons

Paycor does not have many of the functionalities of a payroll processing system. Many of the features that are included are very old and have not been updated for quite some time.

Pros

I'm only a user of Paycor, not the administrator. But I know that from my end, I have never encountered any issues with Paycor. All of my personal information is always readily accessible, and Paycor is very easy to use.

Makes the human resources task so simple

Pros

First of all, the customer service is excellent, there is a specialist for each function and they always respond quickly. On the other hand, having all the important issues regarding employees in one place, makes everything easier and more orderly, eliminates almost the use of paper with all the mess that entails. It's great the ability to approve times away from the office for employees with just a few clicks.

Cons

It has a function to create surveys so that employees can respond to them; This is a great idea and I think they can exploit it much more, add value and more functions.

Pros

I have used Paycor at my past 3 jobs. I really like how easy it is to use. At previous jobs, I used Paycor for both paychecks as well as attendance (this was how we clocked in and out) & PTO. At my current employer, Paycor is used solely for paystubs and updating personal info (address, emergency contacts, etc). I preferred using Paycor for multiple functions because it was really nice to have it all there in one place. I also really like having all of my paystubs organized and easily accessible.

Cons

One con with Paycor (not a huge deal) is that every time I go to log in it requires a code to be sent to my email or phone which is just a little bit of an annoyance when you have to do it every time you log-in.

Easy to use payment tool

It has helped in the following: Uploading new employee details, attendance and salary management, storage of employee data, dashboard for achievements and acknowledgements.

Pros

The best part is I get to see my attendance, vacations, requests everything the moment I log in to the system. And having an app for the same is even better, I can log in anything and make requests or approve requests. This comes handy when I am in between a meeting or out on a tour.

Cons

The customer service is not as corporative as expected plus it doesn't have an approve on email system, I need to log in to the software and then approve a request.

Paying for what you get

You get what you pay for - they aren't the best but they aren't the cheapest. Paycor does a nice job in the basic blocking and tackling but add any type of variety and things get sticky.

Pros

Multi-company setup is nice. Reports can be customized easily to an extent. Product stays very up-to-date with all the new legislation and law changes. Takes the guesswork out of basic payroll processing

Cons

Reporting is easy for basic report - getting complex reports requires intervention by customer support. Number of UDF fields and their size limits you in setting additional buckets up for departments. Setting up new companies is a monumental task....and they are sticklers for the details during the setup and implementation process - sometimes though you need someone to go with the flow and work with you.

Pros

This software makes it simple to access current and prior work-related documents. I can access paystubs, my time clock information, and information I will need for my taxes. I love that I can also go back to different periods of time if I need to access a document.

Cons

I had to specifically request the Paycor online information from my employer, as it is not used company-wide. I would have preferred if the online access is standard to all companies that use the software.

Pros

Paycor Perform is user friendly and the system is very easy to operate even though I had no experience of Paycor I was able to operate seamlessly.

Another thing Paycor Perform does great is their reporting.

They employed experts to handle their customer support.

Just Switched to Paycor

Though the time it takes to put this software into practice can be a pain (depending on the features you want to use and number of employees), I am confident that the time it will save us in the long run is well worth the slow start. In time, large portions of employees' job descriptions will be completely eliminated - allowing us to build much more margin and focus into their roles.

Pros

On the employer end, it seems to be taking a huge load off of our business management and human resources departments. Most of our records were continuously and meticulously kept and manually adapted into regular reports for employees to view. It was soo time-consuming. With Paycor, employees can track their own time-off approval/balance and view past paystubs without assistance.

Cons

It has taken/is still taking lots of time to switch everything over to Paycor. It may just be the lack of margin we have in our jobs, but the switch has stalled out quite a few times because it just takes massive amounts of time and information to get the software up and running. Still, the benefits absolutely outweigh the cost.

Paycor has so many cool features!! It helps with the hiring process and on boarding and then continues to help with tracking and managing everyone. They have a nice look app thats easy to use and comes with many cool features that are helpful for everyone in the organization. Really awesome how they integrated payroll and taxes to help making HR's lives easier come the end of the year!

The software is very useful because its integrated tools provide me with a virtual environment to manage from its graphical interface the assistance of the staff, as their time of stay in the premises, in addition the graphics tool allows me to generate basic inputs for the construction of the reports that the other instances of the organization require in terms of the need for personnel and the preparation of the payroll. It is very good because it is also compatible with several operating systems such as Mac OS, independent operating system, Windows 8.

Cons

The difficulty has been in reaching the precision levels of automating the tracking of employee hours based on their actual work hours in the company and although administrators can configure workflows and distribute permissions to several users according to the roles, his workstation is cumbersome at the system level to translate all those variations of the programming that the tool has with reality.
