TrackSmart is a cloud-based time and attendance management solution for small and mid-size businesses. It can be used in industries such as healthcare, restaurant, retail, office and warehouse.

TrackSmart Attendance helps users track employee time off requests, such as vacations and sick days. The solution enables managers to view timesheets as well as run detailed reports and maintain employee records. With TrackSmart TimeClock, the employees can clock in and out. It also allows managers to approve time-off requests. The system prevents employees from clocking in early and it manages payroll as well.

TrackSmart Scheduling helps managers plan work shifts and let employees see their schedules from any smart device 24/7. It also allows employees to communicate with each other and swap shifts from within the system.

TrackSmart uses SSL encryption as well as permission-based access to ensure the protection of employee information.

Assistance tracking program

Very good as support and support in the monitoring of medical processes.

Pros

It is a very useful follow-up resource in health care services, which simplifies the processes and is very useful in its management from my cell phone and computer.

Cons

It requires for its optimal handling of an Internet connection which has its advantage but at the same time it is a limitation in its handling and updating of data.

Useful for any Company

Pros

I really enjoy this software. Previous to this, I used Google Calendars and Excel and sent it out to employees/contractors but you always ran the risk of someone not paying attention or not reading it thoroughly. This made my life ten times easier.

Cons

I love it and my employees and contractors also love it.

Used it for years, quality when downhill

I first started using it when it was called HelloScheduling and loved it. After it was rebranded as tracksmart it started going downhill. There were no new updates or changes to the product, the app was poorly maintained and was unreliable, and support rarely offered much assistance if I even got a reply. I did like all the different filters to view shifts and that you could email and text employees right from the schedule. We ended up switching because we needed something that worked smoother with multiple locations - and allowed us to see both schedules at once.

Pros

One of my favorite things about is was the overall layout and appearance. It was easy to look at and visually pleasing without being overwhelming.

Cons

Over the years the customer service when downhill and the software started having more glitches.

Pros

I really like the ability to track all of the different leaves that our employees are eligible for. This makes it very easy for me to process the leave information in payroll and gives me the confidence to know that leave balances are accurate.

Cons

There's not really much of anything that I don't like about this software. It provides for what I need.

Keeping tack of employees not that easy

Pros

Now when i got responsibility as a shift in-charge, it was very difficult to keep track of every employee as this is not a school. This software has reduced my headache a lot.
Employee can download the app in their phones and complete attendance anywhere and request offs as well.
It can send alerts in email form. You can see the over time shift availability and swap with other employees also.
It has a demo mode so that new person can learn the functions.

Cons

We cannot see that how many leaves are left in you account.
You can get email alerts but not in text message form. It is easier for employees but its administrator part is little complicated.

I like how TrackSmart TimeClock not only helps you keep track on the hours that employees work, but is a good way to keep track of their time off as well.

Cons

Pros

Has potential, but limited. I love the idea of it, being able to have multiple apps using the same employee information. They were quick to respond to my questions.

Cons

Cannot print - how can I administer discipline if I can't print anything out? Knew within moments that it would not work for us, but they would not return the money. I couldn't try the app without buying it, but they will not issue refunds if the app is not suitable. They either need to have a good sample to download and try (with their own info loaded, not alterable by the user) or they need to issue refunds.

Great tool for HR managers and similar professions.

Great software for the price and it is easy to use regardless of computer skills.

Pros

It is very easy to manage and use. The report generator is a great add. The cost vs. other systems is good too.

Cons

When rolling this out in my facility, there was a bug in the system. The bug changed the number of hours that were previously entered. This made some very, very happy and other very, very mad. It has since been fixed but still not a great way to roll out new software.

Tracksmart Attendance - needs some feature updates

We have not noticed any updates to Tracksmart since we began using it 3 years ago. I am considering looking for something else.

Pros

We have been using Track Smart for 3 years. Generally it is easy for employees to enter time and PTOs. The reports are ok.

Cons

If there is a change to be made, all employees have to come to the administrator to make the change.
I wish we could eliminate all the extra banks of time... we only use PTO so I have to go in a manage it every month if the supervisors don't select the correct bank.
PTOs for time off are counted on the first day of the time off. We pay bi-monthly so this has messed up some hourly workers - for example if an employee takes 5 days off and it starts on the 14th and ends on the 19th - all of the time off will go onto the 14th.
The Supervisors do not receive notification when a time sheet is submitted.

Track Employee PTO

Pros

Employee's like the mobile app and how easy it is to request time off. As an administrator I like all the available reports and that I can download them as Excel documents for easy editing.

Cons

As an admin I don't like that we cannot modify the time off banks. The only one we use is "PTO" and I'm having to constantly go in and modify accepted time to reflect the correct time off bank otherwise the employee's accrual will be wrong.

Very simple to use and a great way to track approvals for time off

Pros

Simple interface, an end user really only needs to use a single screen with a basic form on it which creates a new request. On the same screen, you can see your existing requests and whether they're approved or not. The ability to notify another email address about time off requests is handy (for a spouse for instance).

Cons

The feature set is basic (though this may be all that most people need). The interface is functional, but not very pretty.

This systems needs vast improvement for people who must leave town immediately and do not have time to update the system until their return to the office.

Cons

You cannot retroactively enter bereavement leave. You cannot cancel PTO requests after they have been approved and the start date has passed. Also, do not indicate company holidays to prevent using PTO when day is already given off.

A great upgrade for our company. Saves us money on what we were paying and has more functionality.

Affordable time tracking and compliance software

Pros

The included options are great as far as being able to assign supervisors/teams/locations. The summary screen is helpful when running payroll. Adding new employees or editing them is simple and quick.

Cons

The notifications could be better when someone has submitted their time. Have to go to different screens to see completed shifts versus an in progress one. Not handy for an employee to submit a punch correction, to a supervisor to approve
