We all wish for more features but what skulabs does it does well. From inventory management, to order processing and purchasing, it gets me to where I need to be and it does it well. I cannot imagine not using it now. I can't speak highly enough of the team who support me, they are fabulous and go out of their way to help me, I feel like we're all part of the same team. They're a fabulous company to work with and I am delighted to recommend them. Tight integration with Bigcommerce that never fails. Reliable platform and uptime. Easy order processing. Great inventory management. A pleasure to use. Cons: While it mostly works, I continue to have printing issues sometimes. Purchase orders could do with some attention. The order page could be nicer on the eye. It could also contain a lot more useful data that I need when fulfilling orders such as customer history which you have to go searching for in menus. There's plenty of room for it on the actual order page. Be nice if you could customise the UI, lots of things on the order screen and product pages that I never need to see or don't use. Reports could be better, for example, there's no info on best-selling kits, only the individual parts. I'd like to see the profit and margin data on the product page. There's good data in the customer history so I'd like to see more options to use that for marketing. Reasons for choosing SKULabs I looked at all the options that work with Bigcommerce, Skulabs was the best, hands down! Reasons for switching to SKULabs Amazon acquired Veeqo and changed their pricing model forcing me out of their platform. Absolutely stupidity but that's Amazon for you. We use it DAILY and it's safe to say it's the heart of our business operations. It seamlessly integrated with our BigCommerce store and provided a way for us to organize, track, and analyze the 1,500 SKUs we manage in our business. Thanks to the purchasing and analytics tabs in the Sku Labs software, we’ve been able to accurately order products in a timely manner, avoiding stockouts and gaining confidence that our inventory counts are always precise. Every aspect of our process—acceptance, cycle counts, and shipping—is meticulously tracked for each individual item. And that’s just the management side! Sku Labs also integrates directly with our shipping department, enabling us to accurately pull and fulfill customer orders. The shipping features help our team identify the correct items for each order using images, internal notes, and any necessary communication between the customer, the shipper, and our customer service team. Purchasing - Allows anyone to accept shipments with accuracy, and automatically adds those amounts to our current stock. No human error. Inventory management - Allows us to have accurate stock counts by removing human error from about every aspect of the process Cycle Counts - Create uniform ways for us to check our stock, dates, and their movement. Product Sales Anaylitics - Seeing how our products are performing with in-depth analytic. Cons: In the beginning, as the person responsible for implementing the software, it was a growing process to fine-tune the program to meet our specific needs over the years. The only thing I might have wished for at the time was a dedicated engineer or Sku Labs representative who could focus on guiding us through the features most relevant to our business. With so many powerful options available in Sku Labs, it can feel overwhelming to figure out which ones to prioritize. Having someone provide a bit more dedicated, hands-on attention during the first week—beyond their excellent support line—could be a valuable addition to their onboarding process. That said, they may already offer something like this now, as the company has grown alongside us. To be clear, their customer service is truly incredible, but a more tailored and intimate onboarding experience could make the transition even smoother for new users.
