Zoho Inventory Software


 

Zoho Inventory is a Web-based inventory management system designed with small to midsize businesses in mind. It features standard inventory management modules, including inventory optimization, reporting and analysis, vendor managed inventory and lot traceability.

Zoho also features built-in shipment estimating, tracking and delivery confirmation features that allow users to invoice, ship and track products. In addition, the system integrates with multiple e­-commerce sites, such as eBay, Etsy and Amazon.

As a Zoho product, this system is tightly integrated within the Zoho Finance Suite. As such, Zoho Inventory features integration with Books, Zoho’s accounting and bookkeeping software.

As a Web-based system, Zoho Inventory is operating system-agnostic and will work with both Windows and Mac computers. It also features mobile compatible apps for Windows Phone, Android and iOS.

Zoho Inventory is priced as a monthly subscription based on the numbers of orders processed per month.

Zoho Inventory Great for the integration

Customer support is lacking, a lot of web help from other users, google it, you'll find the answer if tech support fails.

Pros

I love how it integrates into the rest of the ZOHO Platform. Using ZOHO/ONE is a low cost way to get all of the features of ZOHO.

Cons

I don't use Inventory for the webstore features, which could possibly be the best use of it, however I just wish the serial number features could track for rental purposes of the items.

The software is currently unusable for most businesses.

Pros

Easy to use and setup and integrates with Zoho CRM. Zoho inventory also allows you to package your order and print a label that says whats in the package, but you cannot ship those packages properly. See cons.

Cons

They have API connectors for UPS & FedEx. However, the system does not package properly and does not allow multiple packages with the carriers that integrate with the system. Example: If one order had 10 packages, you would need to fulfill 10 packages separately with its own packing slip and tracking number. Your customer would receive the order as if they had 10 different orders.

It's a very easy to use but unfortunately not good if you have a multi store

Cons

a bad system when it comes to multi store and when it integrated with zohoo books the system treat it like one store
there is lack of reports in zohoo inventory

Simplified processes.

Pros

It has accounts, CRM and other features, other providers do not offer them all together. This is system has multiple add ons from the same provider without having to worry about API connections.

Cons

We use both eBay and Amazon, this software only works integrates with eBay. Not sure why they dont offer for both but i can say you would have my business straight away if that was the case.

It's easy to set up and affordable. Good API if you have a developer to work around its shortcomings.

Cons

The information is all there locked in a box where you can't find it. You better have a developer.
Also, if your sales are tax inclusive like mine, no way to import them automatically from a marketplace. Contact support and they just say maybe one day they'll work on it.

it was a great stepping stone for us learning how to manage our inventory but we outgrew it.

Pros

The best part about this is the cost, it integrates nicely with alot of popular apps / eccommerce platforms you would use.
its pretty easy to learn to use as well.

i think this is a great tool for smaller entrepreneur types who sell on etsy/ebay

Cons

The look is a little dated if you ask me but that really shouldn't matter if you just need it to do the job

This software is extremely easy to use, flows well, loads quickly, and provides great flexibility for a number of business needs.

Cons

Unfortunately in our case, we need a stand alone inventory product that does not rely on order entry and shipping details. This software does not allow for this type of inventory tracking.

The product is very easy to navigate and use. The process of converting orders to invoices and payments is very smooth.

Cons

the product needs to have a few additional features including the ability to fully customize invoices, packing slips and invoices like you can in CRM. It also needs to have integration with zoho reports. Lastly, the workflow for moving orders through the system needs to be configurable. You should be able to customize page layouts like you can in CRM and remove fields that you do not need.

Pros

Tracking our stock

Pros

It is one of the only solutions available with a good interface for what we need. The instructions are helpful to get started.

Cons

Expensive for what it does. The mobile app doesn't have key functionality to make life easy whilst on the go.

I find Zoho products to be a bit too 'developy' and not the best user interface.

It helped me organize my inventory a lot. I can also store data about each inventory items with pictures, though it is limited to only 1 photo and it is a little smaller than what I wanted to.

Pros

It has great value for money, you can even use it free for a personal inventory or for a small scale business. Easy to use and you can also customize it a bit according to your needs.

Cons

I have problems with duplicate items in the inventory that I have reported but support is a little bit slack.

Simple to keep all info at one place and manage business with least of worries on account side

Pros

No extra input require to manage your inventory just by using purchase module and invoice module. Once the Purchase system and sales system are in place Inventory get automatically updates

Cons

Creating receipt of purchase order can be simplified so also need some flexibility in making of delivery challan.

ease of use and a 360 degree view of all stock assets

Pros

easy to use and very user friendly the system we were able to set the system up for ourselves without much input from the support center.

Cons

We found the reporting a bit limited and struggled with custom reports, we also noticed the system is fairly generic and think customers may struggle if they have unique requirements.

Have not got it yet, but i know that it will save us some time when we get it up and running smoothly.

Pros

Seems like it has a lot of features and i am looking forward using it in 2018. It has a lot of automation compared to a local software that we are currently using. We are expanding fast, and that's why we want to use zoho inventory, to get as much as possible automated and speed up all processes. Very exited!

Cons

We have never used zoho before, and it can defiantly be a bit overwhelming when trying it out for the first time(first period). Sometimes it seems like it has too many functions, but that is probably not the case when you reach the need for those things.

Also i find it a bit difficult to sync all the programs that zoho offers. Like the CRM with the Inventory.

Cons

Customer service a little bit slow to understand your issue. I had an issue with the Etsy synchronisation and they didn't answer directly.

It links all your sales and purchase orders in one place. Stores your customers, suppliers and bills so that you are always on top of everything. Great sales report that gives a good view of how well the business is doing.

Cons

I am unable to link with zoho crm, so instead of adding someone to inventory who is already in crm I wish I could just copy them over.
