Pros
- I particularly like the way the information is displayed, it makes it very easy to see what to book and how to book it. Far better than other platforms I have looked at.
- The general ease of use, but more importantly, when needed, customer support was excellent.
Cons
- There is not something that I particularly dislike when using this software on my laptop, but it is more difficult to select timings for a booking on a phone.
- The inability for users to edit their own bookings AFTER completion. The only way this is done is if they are given Admin access (which no one wants to do for a user).
Pros
- Have multiple users with different levels of comfort with technology and hearing more and more from group that so glad that set this up for this research project.
- It is also seamless across our different labs and allows us to easily move between species and topics. The tool has also been easy to accommodate our rapid growth in researchers over the years.
Cons
- In the beginning eLab was a bit difficult to learn and a proper training by eLab is advisable to make sure you are using eLab at its full potential.
- I don't like filling out a table. It's hard to move down a column since the only way to do it is by clicking into each box.
