Pros/Cons
Pros
- This software has a great capacity for customization, which is great for a shop like ours that does very few repeat orders and has relaxed relationships with many of our customers.
- We have been able to customize E2 reports better than we had expected. We were up and running in a few hours; the training was great and really helpful.
- I like that Job Boss is easy to use. It's fairly user friendly and has good reporting capabilities.
Cons
- Vendor webinars were a waste of time. There is no lesson plan and the teachers don't seem to want to answer specific questions about the problems we were having with set up.
- We had some problems with the security database that was separate from the SQL application database. I believe this issue has been addressed in the most recent version.
- We have a lot of obsolete raw materials in the system that have not been used in years, but since they have been used in previous records, it cannot be removed.
Pros
- They listen to any suggestions to improve the program, plus the customer service is responsive and knowledgeable. It has been a great experience working with Realtrac and the support team.
- It has also changed how we manage our inventory by consolidating our warehouse. Realtrac has proven to be an effective tool and everyone in the office enjoys its ease of use.
- The likes, In short, the ability to build and track multi level BOM's while having Shop management, inventory visibility and scheduling features. These have long been the desirable features.
Cons
- However it starts every Saturday and Sunday as well.adding to peoples hours who are not working, which in turn make trying to find the cost of manufacturing useless.
- System setup for employees, workcenters, workstations is a nightmare. The worst is the reporting, little to no customization.
- The display and layout was a bit confusing at first.
