Buffer Software


Buffer is a social media management platform for small to midsize businesses that helps users publish content, engage clients and analyze their social media performance.

Buffer integrates with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+ and Pinterest. Social media posts can be customized for each platform and then sent out to all platforms at once. Buffer can also automatically publish social media posts at predetermined times. Buffer has a browser extension and mobile apps so that users can share and create social media posts from anywhere.

Buffer also provides advanced analytics to track social media performance and see weekly or monthly results. Analytics data can also be exported to do further calculations or to create reports.

    Good tool for making social media easier

    Buffer is a handy tool and the concept is great. I used it to organize my social media posts, and it made things a lot easier and less time-consuming. The only issue I had was some posts going live at the wrong time or not at all. Could have been user error on my part, but even after checking and double-checking times, I had some issues. I was scheduling posts for a different time zone, so maybe if you use it in the same time zone you live in, it might not be so tricky. Still, overall a good software.

    Pros

    It's nice being able to organize and schedule social media posts in one place.

    Cons

    It is a little hard to navigate, and I had some issues in the beginning with posts not going live as scheduled.

    It has connection to popular social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin. It has nice "reach" reports. It has scheduling feature and schedules for best reach time automatically.

    Cons

    Scheduling sometimes brings you trouble. You schould use this feature very carefully. Also there could be more workflows.

    I like having for scheduling Instagram and LinkedIn posts. We are more regular on Facebook, so we use their scheduling tools. But it is very handy for scheduling other platforms that don't have scheduled post features.

    Cons

    Not terribly convenient to have to push the Instagram posts to your cell phone and then manually post it.

    I use Buffer constantly, I'm almost addicted to it. Their support team is great and they really care about improving ways to make social media sharing fun and easy.

    Pros

    Buffer is something I use every day to share things with my social media followers, as well as for our business. Their Chrome extension is amazing and they keep improving it. For ease of use, you can't beat it.

    Cons

    The cost is a little high compared to some other alternatives.

    Using buffer for the past two years has made my job so much easier. I schedule all of my social posts for the week and can trust that they are pushed out automatically.

    Pros

    It has everything I need without giving me TOO much information that I don't need. I'm able to schedule all of my tweets, facebook posts, now linkedin posts, and google plus from one central location.

    I use Buffer to schedule and plan all of my social media content. I have a business account and I like being able to create drafts and work on posts together with teammates.

    Pros

    I love buffer! I have been using for several years now - and have taken it from one job to another. I think it is so simple, easy to use and really offers anything that a small business needs for social media management at an affordable price. It works perfectly for my needs and I love that you are now about to use with instagram.

    Cons

    This software definitely would not be sufficient for someone who gets a lot of engagement on social media because replies are not really managed through this platform. But our engagement is relatively low and is easily manageable without needing it in this tool.

    Using Buffer will make your life easier. Specially if you run a business and need to take care of everything besides Social Media. Buffer its easy to use, it allows you to schedule multiple posts for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and also can see the engagement with your audience, amount of clicks, etc.

    Cons

    Need time to understand and schedule every single post, if you want to delete and change it for a different one, it will go at the end of your scheduled posts.

    The very first moment i used Buffer i fell in love because it helps me A LOT to optimizing my time. You can pre-setup the hours you want post and Buffer do the rest.

    Besides, i love the good way Buffer interact with all my Social Media Channels.

    Should be a way i can choose the better hours to post based in my engagement. Buffer had this feature but is not more.

    The time that Buffer saves me is invaluvable, as it allows me to focus on eganging and growing my audience online!

    Pros

    Buffer gives me the ability to easily schedule and plan my content in advance so I can spend more time actually creating. Not only that, it also provides some very useful analytics that gives me insight on what content my follwers love, and what might need to go back to the drawing board.

    Did the job.

    Pros

    I used Buffer to schedule Instagram posts on organization's account. I liked this software better than Hootsuite because you still had control of hitting the send button as opposed to it posting on it's own. Buffer would remind you to post your scheduled image and it took 5 seconds.

    Cons

    What I liked least is that you could only schedule 10 posts at a time without paying for an account. This is normal but just not what we needed it for.

    Time saving and post scheduling is one of the best thing anyone can get with this software.. Would surely recommend this software.

    Buffer is an amazing software anyone can use to schedule posts to multipe social media accounts...You can add fb, twitter, google plus accounts in free version. You can also check for analytics of a particular account. Can schedule posts as per peak time.. It's a good software especially when it's free version available.

    Cons

    All features and functionalities are good. It would be great if there will be an option to add more than four - five social accounts in free version also.Rest is good.

    It's easy to be efficient with your time because you can schedule your social media posts and engagements. You can also integrate this software with some other platforms so you will be able to share things from one platform to the other and get the most bang for your buck "timewise."

    I can't really think of a con. They've made the software very easy to use, and of course there are youtube videos to guide you if you're unsure about anything.

    Buffer is extremely easy to use, so especially if you're a marketing newbie, this is the tool for you. They even tell which of your updates did great on social (their 'Top tweet' feature) which can give you some hints on the direction of your social media marketing strategy. I also really like how engaged Buffer's staff is in building the marketing community - just take a look at their blog!

    I wish they would integrate their other tools such as Pablo better in their main app, so it would be easier to use them.

    I really like being able to draft and schedule our Facebook and Twitter posts well in advance. Buffer helps ensure that our content is always posted at the times during which our audience is most likely to see it. This is particularly useful to automate a variety of posts about our upcoming events.

    Cons

    I'm not a big fan of the URL shortener. The links are Buffer branded, making it obvious when posts are pre-written, which is kind of tacky. Not a huge issue though.

    Great tool for generating new business and followers on social media

    Pros

    I'm self employed and find social media excellent for promoting my business but as a one woman show it is really difficult to find time all the time. Buffer lets me set up a lot of content at once and forget about it for a little while. Really takes the pressure off.

    Cons

    Some applications won't let it post automatically so I have to go in and tell it it's okay to post the content. This makes it so things don't always go out when I schedule.
