Buffer is a great filler!

Pros

I like that I can use Buffer on several social media platforms. It's very easy to use and helps me schedule posts for my yoga challenges.

Cons

Often when I'm scheduling a post and I accidentally click outside the posting box my whole post will disappear. Can't bring it back.

A little bit limiting

I believe it did its job but the team preferred Zoho Social overall and we decided to go with that after the free trial.

Pros

I liked that I can bulk schedule on Monday and free up the rest of my week for other things

Cons

There is a limit to the amount of social medium platforms that you can mage which was frustrating.

Buffer is my go-to social media management software

I was looking for an effective and affordable social media management tool and Buffer is perfect for what I need.

Pros

The little things that take the stress out of social media management and posting. The queue is one of buffer's best features - where I can drop posts in there and forget about them, the re-posting of old content is easy and there is a section for drafts for my team to check out our posts before they go live.

Cons

I wish the tracking and analytics were better, and there are a few issues with certain networks - such as posting video to LinkedIn.

Easy management of social networks

It is a really useful tool, which saves a lot of time invested and with this it decreases the large amount of work involved in marketing management in different social networks. Now one or two people can handle it quickly and easily. Keeps the work in order and benefits us significantly in the communication between the team and our customers.

Pros

What I like the most is the ease that I have of doing great functions with such simple steps. I can program the publications in the different social networks that I use, I can also publish content from the page where I am, all with the Buffer facility. It is affordable and has a high accessibility range. It is so simple and quick to use it. Its API is very good, intuitive and easy to use, I have all the tools I need within reach.

Cons

Everything is fine with Buffer but I present small inconveniences with the general functions with a focus on each social network, which each presents different difficulties. For example Twitter can mark the programming of all my tweets as spam, but it is not, I only do it for the different accounts that I manage. As this also happen limitations with Facebook and Instagram that can make the work more tedious.

Pros

I love that Buffer post direct to Instagram, I love to take a day to program all my week's posts and then forget about it for the rest of the week.

Cons

It took me a couple of hours to get used to the interface, but after it all worked good.

Save Time, Schedule Your Posts

Pros

Buffer makes the scheduling of social media posts a breeze. Why waste time on your posts when you can schedule them ahead of time in one interactive dashboard?

Cons

I honestly can't think of much, except the price is a bit prohibitive.

Good But Glitchy

Pros

Buffer makes it incredibly easy to schedule and post content to the most popular social networks.

Cons

Sometimes it can be glitchy, especially with Instagram posts. It is supposed to send a push notification when a post is to be manually published, but even though notifications are set up properly it doesn't send the notification. Then it says the post has been published, even though it hasn't. That can certainly be frustrating, but under a watchful eye it's not too bad.

It has been a wonderful addition to my company's toolbelt.

Great tool for social media scheduling and posting

Buffer is my go-to tool to schedule social media posts for clients. It allows you to easily add posts to a queue and then post them at pre-defined (or custom) intervals on different social media platforms. We currently use it to schedule posts for Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and allows you to customize posts for each network and attach photos or links in a proper manner. You may need other tools to handle social media interactions such as messages or comments. For post scheduling, Buffer is the best tool out there.

Pros

Easily post the same content (or slight variation of it) on multiple social media platforms.
Queue posts for later posting according to a custom schedule.
Chrome extension to easily add links to your queue.
It does one thing, and does it well.

Cons

Can't manage other social media aspects such as messaging nor comments.

I didn't get it

The app was free so I can't complain because I didn't lose any money.

Pros

It is supposed to set up your social media page posts for you and automate the process and give you analytics.

Cons

I recently downloaded the app and tried to set-up all my social media. After spending the time I didn't quite see the value in it. I'm pretty tech savvy too and I just didn't get it. I didn't see tons of value so I deleted the app.

Buffer for social media

Overall, it's an excellent software for scheduling social media posts for multiple brands.

Pros

I love that it has an app that I can use to post on the go. It's great for handling multiple social media accounts.

Cons

That you need to purchase the whole package in order to fully realize all of the services offered. You also have to stay on top of the posts because sometimes if the quality of the image isn't good enough it has to be deleted.

Buffer is fantasic for automation

Pros

I have used Buffer for several purposes, but the one I liked most was setting up an automated posting of content into one of the Facebook groups I was running. It helped me be able to schedule the content out each week or month and then not worry about being consistent.

Cons

Their free version only allows you to post to one place and no more.

Thanks for the review, Felipe. It's great to hear that Buffer was able to help you with your posting to your Facebook Groups. In case it's helpful to know, our free version now allows you to connect up to three social accounts (e.g. 3 Instagram accounts or 1 Twitter account, 1 Instagram account, and 1 Facebook Group). -Alfred

For those who want to make managing social media painless, try Buffer

Pros

I'm not a huge social media 'guru' so I loved how easy it was for me to schedule posts and have them be posted again and again. Most of the time I was just posting my articles to Twitter/Facebook and this made it painless.

Cons

There were some features I loved about Buffer (like the suggested content feature), but I was bummed when I was forced to upgrade to the paid plan to get access to it.
