Comprehensive Program for Wellness
It lowered our training time significantly since it walks the user through each service. I used to worry that staff would forget a service requirement when we were using paper, so the enforced compliance is very nice. We were already doing a lot of the things the software walks us through, but not in a way that we could bill for or get MIPS credit for. For instance, we would always talk to our patients about obesity and exercise for quite a while, but Prevounce makes sure we hit all the points needed to make it a full creditable service. It also streamlined the patient handouts we give, allowing us to customize them per patient using our own logic. Outside the software, the amount of personal time you get with the Prevounce staff is a benefit. They learn your practice and make suggestions as to which preventative services that you and your patients may benefit most from. They add consulting on top of the software to really customize everything for you.
CONSOur EMR wanted quite a bit of money to integrate so we decided not to for the time being. It takes an extra 15-20 seconds per patient to enter the information into Prevounce and then drag and drop the reports into our EMR, which can be annoying for staff. The time saved compared to doing it in our EMR or on paper is still well worth it, though. Although the software handled billing, it took a lot of initial of back and forth between our staff and Prevounce to get the billing aspect of the services handled. Since then, it has been running smoothly.

Full Replacement for Multiple Other Softwares
Company was great and went out of their way to make sure things were customized to our practice. Was slow to start, but once everything got running it improved our workflow significantly. Patients no longer slip through the cracks when it comes to preventive services near as often as with our previous software.
PROSHolistic program – handles almost all preventative services. We use it for Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and Chronic Care Management as well as with PPO mental health screenings. On its own, it replaced three other software systems we were using. Now it is just our EMR and Prevounce. Saves time on performing the services especially with the pre-emailing system for patient info. Checks eligibility automatically so we don’t waste time on ineligible patients. They ended up making handouts and reports for us to use with their system which was very helpful.
CONSTraining took a couple of hours when I think it could have been shortened to one hour. Had to use it without an EMR integration for a few weeks. Was only an extra 30-40 seconds per patient spent, but it is very nice to have it integrated now.

Increased Efficiency and Patient Care
Our office thought that we were providing the best care for our patients when it came to preventative services; however, after beginning to work with Prevounce, we realized we still had so much to learn. Prevounce has helped us improve our patient care and experience by streamlining our AWV process and increased our ancillary revenue by letting us know exactly when a patient is eligible for their next wellness services. The support team is quick to respond and will talk us through every issue or concern we have. Implementing this software is one of the most positive decisions we have made for the office as a whole.
PROSPrevounce is both easy to use and helps our office stay Medicare compliant. The implementation team has held our hands every step of the way walking us through the software and even helping us brainstorm workflow changes to increase efficiency and patient care.
CONSIf I had to choose one thing to be upset about with the software, it would be the lack of an integrated training portal. This would stop us from regularly needing to reach out to support when we experience a hiccup in our workflow. That being said, support has been phenomenally helpful, patient, and understanding of our needs.

Initially the software fit our business model well, however their team went the extra mile and made it fit like a glove. I can't say enough good things about the Team, they are in my opinion exceptional.
CONSIt's not user or bug proof! The support team have always been quick to jump on, and clear any issues. We are very happy.
