We appreciate the vision and values at Fixus and their willingness to truly partner with us. You will never speak to a disinterested technical support person at Fixus because the team is genuinely excited about data management and finding solutions.

PROS

We are big fans of Fixus as the case management software has had such a profound impact across all areas of our organisation. The software enables us to manage a range of different types of mental health programs and private practice on one platform with customisations to accomodate operational and reporting differences for different program streams. What we like best about this software is bringing every aspect of the data management and our workflow processes into one place, including intake and triage, scheduling, clinical record generation and management, secure document sending, activity and performance tracking, MDS reporting, and outcomes data analysis. Fixus have offered regular consultation and software development options which has supported us to create efficient workflows and processes. We have appreciated flexible options to work with our data to create dashboards which fulfil our own specific reporting and clinical governance objectives. There are no frustrating limitations to how we use this software because Fixus have worked with us closely to make sure we find solutions which are a fit for our services.

CONS

The trickiest part has been waiting for scheduling functions because it's a key goal which will have a big impact on workload in our organisation. We appreciate all the reasons this takes the time it takes.

Reason for choosing Fixus

Fixus were willing to partner with us to customise our product to more specifically fit our needs. We had used both systems and found the Fixus user experience was better. The Fixus team were genuine and excited to work with us.

Reasons for switching to Fixus

We were using three different products to manage our data which was logistically challenging and created lots of work. Fixus allowed us to bring everything into one place and combine the functions of practice management software with case management software.

APMHA Health - Primary Mental Health Services and Wellbeing programs

The Fixus program and its ability to support our work in providing primary mental health services and reporting on the work to our funders sells itself. It does what is required in this area and is quite easy to use compared to other similar programs. Our company work with 3 different software systems over multiple PHNs and found Fixus was the easiest and most consistent in terms of deliverables. The most important aspect however, for myself and the company is the Fixus workforce. From their [SENSITIVE CONTENT], Analyst, Developers and support team, they are always ready to solve and resolve technical issues to working closely our our needs to change or develop the required product to further improve our productivity. They also have an incredible ability to laisse with product users in a way to allow them to understand the Fixus system and how to use it correctly. Using language that helps non IT proficient users understand. They are very responsive to the user's needs and would take the time to better understand how different services use their products. An example is how willing and quick they responded to our request to help us capture data in the recent Victoria floods (October 2022)Within 4 days of requesting for help with this. Fixus came through with an ability to record flood related cases, sessions and a reporting tool to capture who was affected and the work completed in their support. An amazing turn around time. I highly recommend the Fixus products and their team

PROS

Ease of use and Fixus' ability to capture and store the required information. The ability to quickly access information and also how to then report on the information has been invaluable.

CONS

Very MDS focused. I understand why as it was developed with MDS in mind. It could be a very useful Health industry software and is heading in that direction I believe.

Reason for choosing Fixus

These other systems were used by other PHNs that our company was contracted to. Fixus was also being used. When it came time to purchase our own system, we chose Fixus due to it's ease of use. This, along with the support we receive from Fixus Technologies, is why we continue to use their products.

My review

I am OK with using Fixus on a daily basis in my work. I am very happy with customer service and dicrect work with the team - particularly [SENSITIVE CONTENT]

PROS

It is user friendly enough to use on a daily basis and allows for capturing important aspects of client direct work and documentation.

CONS

It is still quite chunky which makes sense given the complex data that need to be captured. However a cleaner view would be very helpful.Some of the hard codes make it difficult to customise field names - something I look forward to see changed.

Fixus review

The Fixus staff are amazing and super helpful. When never I have queries or requests they are happy to jump on a teams and problem solve.

PROS

Yes this has been an overall success internally and for our Providers. The system is very easy to use, which makes training the Providers just as easy. The system isn't clunky like some others.

CONS

At the start of the implementation it seemed difficult to have issues resolved (previous colleagues). However since having [SENSITIVE CONTENT] as the relationship Manager, I personally have found it very straight forward to resolve problems. It was suggested to have notifications implemented and have since been updated that this is on the wish list.

Its been a really great experience that has resulted in a product that is simple, easy to use, logical and is constantly being improved for the better.

PROS

The care and patience taken to design our interface to work with our program needs. The responsiveness in resolving issues and making changes is extraordinary. The ease and simpleness of the system makes it easier for our technicially challenged workers to operate.

CONS

There is nothing I can say that I dont like about the program

Easy to use, customizable, intuitive, flexible.

CONS

Integration was difficult but only given FIXUS is health based and our organization is community services focused. However, support team did a fantastic job.
