  • Pros

  • The code is freely available, it has beautiful user interface and can be easy to use with some orientation.
  • I was looking for something that would get me away from paper charts. In addition, I wanted something that was more robust and would allow for proper record keeping.
  • Cons

  • Vendor is weak in account management, such as insurance follow up, posting payments and adjustments to correct dates of service.
  • There are some issues when trying to verify insurance which can delay a patient's check in.

  • I particularly love how the treatment objectives auto-populate into progress notes to keep you on track with monitoring and updating those.
  • It was relatively straightforward, great price, could do insurance billing for you, includes treatment planning, integrated CC processing.
  • Cons

  • Clients can cancel appointments through the portal, which then notifies the clinician, but if a clinician cancels an appointment, again no notification is sent out to the client.
