Platform user - we use Fonteva for membership, events and e-commerce. We had a great planning and implementation process.

Not much that I don't like. It can be intimidating to folks who are too savvy with technology.

More often than not, there is more than one way to meet our needs and it is just a matter of choosing the solution that works for us.

It also keeps us linked to other vendors, systems, etc, so everything is in touch with one another. For a more fluid process, this is highly recommended.

Fonteva is a fabulous company but the Fontevans are are absolutely the greatest group of folks to work with.

They make it easy for membership organizations to tailor community websites to their members without the cost of building a custom website from scratch.

I feel like that's the cost of doing business and not our problem. Overall, though, they've been helpful and we've had a good experience.

The fonteva staff have been excellent and helpful throughout our implementation.

For example I created a screen for all of our batches. As the object grows it becomes increasingly difficult to locate a batch.

As a membership professional (non-IT person) I've found it fairly easy to pick-up. I love the ability to customize our join process (a luxury we've never had).

At first it was difficult but only because I was expecting more steps in the the process but this software simplified my life.

It has been a positive one. The product is great and user friendly and the staff is awesome.

The online training and customer support is always helpful as I try to learn new things. I'm enjoying all the features of the reports and dashboards to help better utilize our data.

If you're used to the Salesforce product and you're looking for an AMS, this is the tool for you. Just like Salesforce it already has various products that directly integrate with Fonteva.

Reporting is very intuitive and easy to use. It is easy to find member information and transactions in the system.

Fonteva is great for associations using Salesforce, or want to get Salesforce. This integrated system combines all our needs into one place.

It's really designed for individual membership and does not offer the parent child relationship. There are a number of gooes that provide various functionality, which is always a risk.

We're a nonprofit and this is a HUGE investment for us budget-wise. I feel like Fonteva sometimes forgets that, e.g. they tried to charge us for bringing our new account rep up to speed.

Difficult to upgrade from one version to another.

There are so many version upgrades every now and then, it is so difficult to catch up with the latest software version. It requires too much money.

Overall this is a great AMS. I was never involved in the pricing but I understand that it is expensive but it can handle complicated membership models.

Very helpful for new users or people just getting started...or if you need ideas on how to do something. Can integrate with other products.

Good fit for our organization and has a wide range of integrated products that we also use.

The best aspects of this product are the fact that you can generate quick queries on the fly using the built in query system (IQAs).

The learning subscription and performance improvement program have been worthwhile for us as well.

The system is pretty intuitive and easy to use, to customize and to report out from.

The excellent customer service makes up for any issues I run into.

It's customizable features are really a bonus and I love that I can share customized data with our board directly in their dashboard.

Overall i liked this software which is perfectly designed for the membership management and easy to use. A lot of online training are available and annual iMIS conference is a great place to attend.

Some limits in some areas. Complicated scripts/reports don't transfer over well into iMIS web, need to overhaul reports to make them work.

The cost and the effectiveness of the program are superb.

The newest reporting tool is exciting, as is the new form builder. We're able to integrate tradeshow, LMS, and app software into iMIS, which allows us to streamline business across the association.

If you hire someone new, it can be hard to get them trained on all the features...especially if they have no previous database experience.

Some missing reporting - it is a membership system yet unlike modules for meetings, orders, etc. it is not able to produce a membership receipt for dues payments through the system.

Lack of support because the company is suppor. Low amount of partners, limited selection.

When we first got iMIS we had alot of customization which as we upgrade does create some problems.

The ASI portion of what is written, old archaic, a staple in the design can cause some reporting to look and act obsolete.

Decision making is now ease. Appropriate dashboards created quick decision making and the availing of any sort of reports which initially was a challenge.

The overall experience has been wonderful with iMIS. I have been involved with NiUG, the user group for iMIS and I've attended various events.
