They PROACTIVELY reach out if they see you try something and it wasn't completed, to make sure you don't need assistance. They tailor their platform to the needs of non-profits. And they're just awesome people to work with! #### Cons NOTHING! There is absolutely NOTHING negative. I love Zeffy! I think more non-profits should use Zeffy! #### Reasons for switching to Zeffy CONSTANT 'updating' terms to the benefit of PayPal and the DETRIMENT of the nonprofit. Like charging their fees EVEN IF the donor was refunded. For example - an emergency fundraiser gets held for an animal needing urgent surgery. The animal dies and only a fraction of the cost is incurred so donors are offered to get their donations back. MOST will refuse and say put it towards the mission but often donors felt like they were just supporting THAT animal and ask for the money back. Not only does PayPal keep the TRANSACTION FEE (which I totally agree with that) but they keep the PERCENTAGE. If someone donates $1000, the fee is $20.80. So if the donor wants a refund, PayPal KEEPS that "percentage" even though 1.99% of $0 is $0. No incentive was offered Like I said, it has been very useful with our fundraising campaigns. Surprisingly robust. Lots of good info and records to be used on the backend... I need to explore more with "volunteer management" and "staff management." Not really sure what services are available in those realms. The interface is easy to use, pretty intuitive... and honestly, quite robust for a free product (free for us!). #### Cons Hmmmmm.... That's hard to say. We had an issue during set up for one of our events..... We didn't realize that to have two separate bank accounts, you would need to set it up as two different organizations in the system. The bad news is that we had already created a whole entire event under one profile.... and then had to go back and re-create that event under the other profile because there is no option to "duplicate events between profiles." The second thing that is a drawback is when I set up e-mails to go out to large groups, it will bounce back the whole lot sometimes. I understand that I need to integrate it with our web-hosting site... but I tried and it was difficult. And I am usually *pretty technically savvy.* But, I wasn't able in that case... #### Reasons for choosing Zeffy Cost effectiveness of this product versus Bloomerang. It isn't exactly the same level of options..... I love that there is no fee as with a nonprofit we want to use our funds for our mission. There tools are very user friendly. #### Cons I have not had any bad experience with Zeffy and MOST of our non-profit is managed through them. Our events, communications, contacts, finances, etc. The only thing I don't like is they don't do EVERYTHING we need! #### Reasons for switching to Zeffy We changed because our non-profit is small and every dollar we make should come to us! The fee elimination has saved us and our donors tens of thousands of dollars. The customer service is phenomenal and quick to respond, the campaign creation is seamless and intuitive and customizable, and I never worry about if or when we'll receive our funds. You can use it as a CRM to email your customer base if you'd like, and you can track so many performance metrics. #### Cons Can't say there's anything I don't like. Maybe that it's another platform to manage? Verification was reasonably simple and quick, even though we are an unregistered charity. #### Cons Generally, we have not come across any downsides.
