Easy Projects is a cloud-based project management platform for midsize organizations. The platform enables users to collaboratively initiate, approve, plan and execute projects, assign resources, track progress, monitor spend and costs, prioritize tasks and report on results.

Easy Projects provides each user with a personalized collaborative workspace and supports Agile, Kanban and Waterfall methodologies that can all be used in unison depending on preference. The solution is able to support work breakdown structure (WBS), multiple dependencies, critical path management and portfolio management.

Easy Projects offers custom forms and project templates as well as the ability to view employee calendars, workloads and timelines to allocate resources based on skills and availability. Managers have access to project budgets, revenue, costs, expenses and other financial metrics.

Easy Projects offers integration with apps like Microsoft Outlook and Office, Google Calendar, Gmail and Slack. Mobile apps are available for Android and iOS devices.

It is available on a per user per month subscription basis which includes support via email, live chat, phone and remote assistance.

Project management became easier after I started using Easy projects

I like this software since it far much better than some of the software out there in the market.

Pros

As the name suggests this software is very easy to use. It is very possible to customize this software so as to meet your needs. This software allows you to work on several projects at the same time unlike some software. I like the way this software is user-friendly.

Cons

It is somehow hard to generate reports using this software. This software cannot be integrated with some programs.

EASY TO USE

The interface takes all the good features that the tool has, I wished it could be better because we really enjoy the software gantt and tasks organization.

Pros

I was trying to find a software to administer projects and it looked good, it has many features and a kind of customer portal which took my attention.

Cons

When I tested it the interface was really ugly, .net kind of old view which do not convinced me or my boss of buying it.

Pros

I like the amount of detailed information and the way it's all presented. It seems to be very helpful.

Powerful Tool for Project Management, Somewhat Intuitive

We are able to manage numerous projects that are occurring simultaneously within our team and across the department.

Pros

I like the ability to filter the information, and the ability to view in either Gantt or List view.

Cons

Kanban view is not very functional, no option for color coding projects/tasks other than the "Health" meter. I would love to see a Kanban view that is similar to a Trello or Jira format.

Keeps tasks organized for hundreds of users to share

Pros

Our Easy Projects software helps us keep our team of 200 on the same page. We are able to work seamlessly in the tool to ensure flawless execution of all tasks. I like that we can customize the notifications of tasks. I see every update made to every task, which means I get dozens of notifications every hour. However, by customizing my notifications, I can get a recap every hour that I quickly review for anything I need to look at. I also like the tagging feature, which allows me to know if anything needs my immediate attention instead of being seen an hour later.

Cons

There seems to be a bit of glitching regularly occurring. I have to refresh frequently. I also don't like that I can't view my tasks in a side bar, but rather have to go to a separate page.

The ease of learning to use the software was great. It only took one short session and we were already setting up team projects.

Cons

Customer Service at its best! Incredibly helpful and they always go above and beyond!

Pros

Easy Projects is so incredibly easy to use and the company really loves feedback on how to improve. That is something I can appreciate as my company strives for continuous improvement.

Cons

It's hard to explain. On the Activity Center page, you have all your projects up. When you open a project, the whole thing will open. Id like for it to open to all your main points but not all the subs.

Easy and Customizable

Pros

I am able to gain easy insight into my team's workload and their project's progress. It has improved our workflows and visibility tremendously!

Cons

The software has great value for its cost. However, that means some functionalities that I'd like to see are not available. For example, I'd like to see an audit trail on notifications and for custom reports to be automatically emailed.

Pros

Easy projects has a lot to offer and I'm sure I'm only using a small percentage of whats available.

Pros

Organise my projects and tasks for multiple projects. Helps keep project budgets visible and keeps the team accountable.

Cons

I find the layout a bit clunky in some area's but recent improvements have helped with a few of those. Overall a great software.

Easy Projects has allowed me to easily move into the Project Manager role within my department.

Pros

The software is very easy to use and visually appealing. I like the Resource Reports so I can easily identify over allocation.

Cons

There is no ability WITHIN the software to connect dependencies between projects. There is no undo button.

Reliable as far as the limited amount of downtime.

Pros

Reminders feature is helpful. The ability to change which project are shown and it is nice to be able to select the start page based on my usage.

Cons

Gantt chart not that helpful to use but is a necessary feature. I was glad they added it but it requires a lot of field customization and maintenance.

Excellent tool for scheduling. Very powerful when used as intended.

Ease of daily updating and maintenance

Pros

Ease of updating and defining tasks and dependencies. Back-scheduling from fixed due dates is a snap. Easy to what-if.

Cons

I haven't found anything substantial I don't like. That said, it is difficult at times to see all dependencies on a small tablet. A large monitor is the preferred setup, but that doesn't work for people with bifocal glasses. :-)

I use Easy Project for my job. I only use it to see the assignments I have.

Pros

Readability of project. I like how I can see from the homepage the deadlines that are coming up. I also like the notifications.

Cons

Too many notifications. Although I know I can turn off the notification in the system, there is a large amount of unnecessary notifications.

I had issues logging into our Rental Man program we utilize to do our day to day operations.

The fact that I could receive customer support and recitify my issues on a Sunday is the proof in the pudding. The Company offers a service and truly backs up their claim of being a top rated support role application in a support function! Well done!!

Pros

The fact that I could log in on a weekend with an issue, enter my problem with an easy to use interface and received a reply back in a very short time. After receiving notification my issue was received it did not take long at all to get the issue corrected so we could resume business as usual. This level of customer support is a must have for any company, no matter their application.

Cons

I really cannot think of a con, outside of maybe the issues being handled internally in liue of externally. That said, I am a believer that the support outweighs wanting to keep our business interally, well done and not an issue of being labeled a "con".

It is easy to use after taking some time to understand where everything is and how to use it.

Tracking completion of projects and what tasks are next up and what schedules are flexing or changing based on circumstances.

Pros

This program makes it easy to access your assignments and sort them by completion date or project which is a nice feature!

Cons

The program seems to be better suited to logging in hours to a task in order to track progress instead of just completion or even completion stages. As an engineer it is difficult to accurately schedule hours to complete a task so this feature is not very helpful for me.

It's really easy to use EASYPROJECTS!

Pros

We use this software for our daily scheduling of projects & tasks. It's very helpful, easy to use and effective to track all the activities.

Cons

Other than admin, normal users (without admin rights) are not able to see the results, tasks assigned, tasks iscomp/notcomp, overall monthly reports, etc. Users should be able to at least read/see them.
