Your All-In-One Interior Designer's Business and Project Management Tool
There is surely a lot of project management software out there but Indema stands out as it was not only built to manage interior designer's projects but their businesses as well. It automates almost everything saving a lot of your time and it offers a friendly modern platform. Their Gantt chart feature is also a must-try as it really makes your "Things To Do" easier to understand and manage. Another thing that I loved the most is their friendly and amazing customer support. I know, as I also work in the customer success field. :)
CONSI haven't encountered any yet. I'm actually excited to explore more about it!

Designers' Needs All in One Place
What I love and use the most: designer invoicing, creating POs, product clipper, product review for clients, and the general organization and tracking of progress for my decorating projects. Hands down, the best part of Indema is the support you get. Have a question? They are responsive. Have an idea/suggestion? They're all ears! Confused about something? They walk you through it.
CONSI do wish the tracking products feature was more functional. I'd like to be able to see "at a glance" where my products are in the ordering process. Besides that, the platform meets my needs as a designer.

New Software and Needs a lot of work
I would say we have had a very poor experience. The software over promises and under delivers in all areas we have spent time on.
PROSWe love that this software is trying to incorporate a lot into its product. They promise a lot when you sign up about all the features - time tracking, invoicing, procurement process management, even social media management. The price is great if all of those features worked.
CONSThis product has been incredible difficult to use in every way. Invoicing has been a nightmare. Since the software is new, there is a lot of bug fixes that have not been resolved. But beyond that very basic features are not implemented into invoicing - showing unit price for items, customizing emails sent to clients, auto save features, sales tax reports, linking to quickbooks appropriately - all of this is not something the software can currently do. It has been a pain to use. Our clients have had a bad experiencing using and paying on the software as well which is not ideal. We haven't really gotten into any of the other features of software because of course having accurate invoices and getting paid by our clients is crucial to our business.On top of all of this, it is really hard to get someone to help us in customer service. They always just want you to report the problems in a very formal way. We are used to software like Monograph - where someone is assigned to all your issues and stops what they are doing to help solve things.

We didn't like the changes that ivy had recently made to their software. Ivy would never integrate with quickbooks like we wanted it to, so our accountant wanted us to make the switch to a platform that would integrate better and have a fresh start.

Our team is small and we prioritize issues based on complexity and severity, but we are transparent in our approach and have never promised immediate resolution to all problems. I would also like to acknowledge that some of the features you mention (showing unit prices for items, customizing emails sent to clients, auto save features) are not currently available on our platform. However, we welcome and appreciate feedback through our portal to continue improving our offerings. If there is a need for a customized solution, we would be happy to discuss further to ensure you have everything you require from our platform. Lastly, I truly wish you and your team had reached out about one-on-one team training. I'm sure that the system is a bit more complicated to navigate without having asked for or gone through any training at all. We encourage all users to attend trainings, on-boardings and such to get the most of indema. In this case, we had not seen any of this from the firm and feel there would have been more success had that been the case. I Love Indema!
My overall experience has been stellar. I've really enjoyed using the platform so far to get my business up and going. The customer service is off-the-charts amazing!!
PROSI am very new in the design world and have tried out most of the project management softwares. Indema is by far the most well designed for the way my brain works. The interface is clean and easy on the eyes, and I love that all the settings are in one place.
CONSWhile the "Add to Indema" clipper is awesome, I wish that it could be moved on screen by the user. Sometimes, the information I need on a webpage is underneath the clipper. Other than that, it's fantastic.

Interior Designers are flocking to indema!
indema allowed our design firm to not only get more organized but also allowed us to stay in full communication with our client for the life of the project. The platform is new and the [SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN], has his finger on the pulse anytime we have questions.
CONSThey are still very new, so I would love to see more features eventually.
