Targetprocess is a cloud-based, modular project management solution that allows users to visualize and manage projects using any combination of Kanban, Scrum or the user’s own preset work solution.

The solution features an array of applications which provide data visualization at every level of the organization. Users can automatically prioritize incoming work items and use visual encoding to flag projects. Targetprocess’ timeline mode shows a project’s progress over time and allows users to set milestones. Users can also track and trace every item in the system in order to visualize changes with live updates. Risk management compares original plans against the actual work to alert the team to any disparities, and auto alerts can be set based on customized risk criteria.

Targetprocess offers dedicated mobile apps for iOS and Android devices. It’s suitable for midsize to large companies in a variety of industries, such as architecture, IT services, engineering, graphic design and more.

This has help me to manage one of my project that has given by my university. We finished that project before the deadline because this product help us to do our work within the time period.

Pros

Easy to manage agile projects according to scrum. Easily I were able to add some bugs to other developers and they were able to fix it within the given time period. This is very help full to manage our work and finished them within the given time period

Cons

Nothing much. But when I use it first time I had face some difficulties. This has little bit difficult to beginners.

An Interesting Take on Project Management

Pros

It is easy to see where a project is at and who is working on it. The priority levels are fun and well thought out, though generally, all I use are user stories. It's a pretty powerful tool and has a lot of nice features and options to track projects.

Cons

I needed some training before I understood the software well enough to use it. It's a software that you need to be educated on before diving in, especially if there are already a lot of other users.

Targetprocess review

Pros

This product has great features, like the batch drag & drop that allows you to choose more than one card at a time and move them anywhere, and shareboards where you can share what you need.

Cons

I found some of the configuration a bit difficult, but the great staff at the end of the phone were able to clearly explain my solutions.

My Favorite

Pros

It gives me maximum visibility. It provided great flexibility--I can do just about anything I can think of.

Cons

There are some additional features that I want that they don't have...but no one else has them either.

Incredible User Experience. Even better Agile/Scrum management

All-encompassing option for managing an agile scrum process.

Pros

As a big fan of the Agile/Scrum methodology, having a tool to help us keep things straight is important. Keeping everyone on the same page is really important and Targetprocess really excels at helping you do that

Cons

There is a decent amount of setup required. This isn't surprising necessarily and is a part of really owning the process but Targetprocess is all in or nothing.

Powerful tool

Pros

From time to time in various companies, I see people desperately try to achieve their goals with a mix of some software and custom home-made utilities/tools. It's the time when just one thought comes to my mind: how easily it could be achieved with the help of Targetprocess...

Cons

The most important problem for me is performance. But this is a consequence of design choice: either you have a dumb and primitive solution, or you have performance problems.

Target process helps organize

Our team was new to agile and helping them to understand how to use the different categories.

Pros

We were able to organize work load very easy. Set up did not take much time.

Cons

Just getting those that have never used agile or stand ups before to buy in and use the product.

TargetProcess

Pros

TargetProcess is a cloud-based project management tool that is being continuously improved with new features. It can be configured to use a number of different workflows and has very customizable ways to view your project's work so different roles can find the views that work best for them.

Cons

The biggest complaint that I've heard voiced about TargetProcess is that it's cutomizability can make it easy to lose entities. For example, if you're working on an Agile project and have an epic, feature, story, task breakdown with releases and sprints, you can set up a view that shows all items related to a feature and in a release but when you add a new item the new item will only inherit some of the properties of that view and in some circumstances will disappear immediately.

TargetProcess have added a list of recent changes though which makes finding that entity easy but it is a pain as you have to set up views to find lost entities to keep the project tidy.

Probably all you could want and more...

I'm very happy with this system, having reviewed around 10 when starting out putting in place an "agile"/ "any" development process in place, this stood out. Have since implemented (the first thing I done) as my new role with a new company.

Pros

Very easy to get up and running, was able to implement the software they way I felt suited my developer's processes.

Cons

It has a lot of functionality - more than my team will ever use, a smaller (cheaper) option would be nice, I raised this with support, they have had the request before but it isnt easy to create a smaller product that would suit everyone, fair point.

Wonderful, Multi-faceted Management Software

Awesome software. Keeps your team focused on the project, not how to use the software.

Pros

We've cycled through a number of project management software but Targetprocess is one of my favorites. Our team jumped right into it and rarely had any issues with figuring out how to use it. Targetprocess doesn't hold your hand, but rather allows our team the freedom to pursue and complete our projects in a way that best suits our workflow. We all stayed on task and following each individual's progress was easy and fun.

Cons

A few views are missing and sometimes it's difficult to see day-to-day progress on projects. With a little practice and playing around with functions these things aren't too much of an issue for us anymore.

A great tool for managing product lifecycle - after you learn it...

TargetProcess is the main managing tool at TecSinapse. There we have the roadmaps for all our portfolio (more than 30 software products), all our 5 product squads, Devops team, QA and etc. It is complete and very flexible. I surely recommend it.

Pros

The flexibility to customize our process within TargetProcess is amazing, with custom fields and the broad variety of views, everything we need to keep track of what is happening at the company is provided.

Cons

Even if you can easily start to use, you can also very easily start to use it wrongly. It takes some time and effort so that you can really understand and, therefore, take the most of it. Additionally, search mechanism could be improved (combined search with tags, more custom fields, etc.)

Task manager with flexible process designer

Pros

It is the most flexible task manager that I've ever seen. It may be used to set up easy and light kanban in one team and rigid and highly documented waterfall in another with TargetProcess.

Cons

It is somewhat distracting when some colleagues have easy workflows and don't need all the great functionality and details.

A product manager in Brazil

Pros

What I like the most is the product adaptability. each team here can define their own process while using the same tool.

Cons

We have 40-50 people distributed in 5-8 teams, it's comum share public views and reports. For those who need a global view, it's easy to get lost with time, with uncountable views and discontinued entities.
