I created the entire support system for my company inside Desk and Teamwork. It took a few months, but we were basically going from email to this. We can now generate monthly invoices and send them to QuickBooks via automation.

Pros:

They have a lot of project management integrated, so I don't have to go back and forth. The price is reasonable, and they have continued to update the product. I think they have balanced complexity and usability well. I am able to schedule and plan my day from their calendar interface well. The recurring tasks are easy to create and fairly easy to manage/update. Also, Gantt charts. They also have an API that my AI is able to use. The automated triggers are also nice. Decent level of granularity.

Cons:

There was a learning curve moving from other project management software to this, but I think that is expected. Some of the higher-level functionality is less intuitive to access than the day-to-day stuff. Oh, the inbox "Desk" functionality is an add-on. We weren't clear on that when we signed up. It also seems like it is being actively maintained, though, so that may be worth it.

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Thus far, it's been really positive. We went all in on a project management system migration to Teamwork.com, and it's been wonderful to have all the task descriptions, different notes we can put on there, etc. within the PM system. It's been a real level up for us and I can't wait to see how that keeps going!

I love the clean look to it, the varying views, the planning tab - a lot of features in there make it great and easy to use. Their customer support is responsive, making sure that when we have ideas, we are heard. It also does a great job of finding automations and making it easy to edit and check every day.

Cons:

There are a few kinks here and there - we've had trouble with our custom end dates being saved in a Gantt chart view, but overall not bad!

It is very flexible to use, we were able to add an OKR system so that it would work for our company.

Cons:

Too many places for comments. We tend to lose comments, not a huge thing because of the emails, but we do lose them in the system, usually these are new employees that haven't or forgot their training

Pros:

What stands out most is that everything lives in one place. Project management, time tracking, collaboration, and reporting are all integrated, which eliminates tool sprawl and gives us a single source of truth. Their customer support is consistently strong. Responsive, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed. The product team clearly listens to users, and you can see feedback reflected in ongoing improvements and new features. It’s also intuitive. New team members ramp up quickly, and the learning curve is manageable even for less technical users. That ease of adoption has made a big difference for cross-functional teams.

Cons:

Because the platform evolves quickly, changes can sometimes roll out with limited notice, which may require teams to adjust workflows on the fly or introduce new bugs. While innovation is a positive overall, more proactive communication around updates would help with change management. There are also a lot of features, some of which aren’t relevant to every team. The ability to toggle certain features off at the account level would help reduce visual clutter and keep the experience streamlined. For some users, especially those new to structured task management, the depth of functionality can feel overwhelming at first. From a technical perspective, the API and documentation could be stronger. There’s room for improvement in clarity and extensibility, particularly for teams looking to build more advanced integrations. I’d also love to see more forward-looking MCP/AI-ready capabilities within Teamwork Spaces to support automation and smarter workflows.

No notes. I've used way worse project management softwares like Workamajig and Jira/Trello - it's so good in comparison.
