Intuitive and Powerful

It was very pleasant. Right from the beginning the implementation team managed our expectations well, understood our requirements and kept the project on track. Training was good and they went above and beyond when needed. Support have been solid so far. So all in all, good product and good team.

PROS

It has a modern look and feel. Does not feel like I am using a back office system created decade ago. It has all the features for our needs. It definitely helped us consolidate from over 25 systems down to 4, Yardi Corom played an important role in that transition. The team is very responsive when my team needs help. The solution keeps evolving to meet our changing needs. With every new feature, our lives keep getting easier.

CONS

Implementation took longer than I would have liked but there were a lot of moving parts and certain delays were caused due to scheduling and resources on our end as well. So no biggie.

Reason for choosing Yardi Corom

Yardi has been in business for decades, so its not going anywhere. Moreover, their offering is more comprehensive than some of the point solutions. Their understanding of real estate software was very evident right from the sales cycle through implementation.

Corom is way more advanced, and single integrated solution solves a lot of issues we were having.

Review for custom product

With Yardi on board I can now stop using spreadsheets and get reminders when expiration dates are coming up.

PROS

The team was very helpful in configuring the Yardi Corom product to fit our needs. The canned version is designed more from the landlords perspective and we need the software to work from the lessee side. The team worked extremely hard to make us happy.

CONS

The multiple products offered can be overwhelming to a new user. I was originally looking for a all in one solution for facilities mgt., lease management, and space planning. Can be a steep learning curve at first due to not understanding certain terminology and takes to time how lease information is stored in different tables.

After evaluation I discovered those other systems were overkill for what we needed.
