We have had issues with canned responses and the lack of technical knowledge account managers have; considering they are our POC. AP is still missing the mark when it comes to report creation and flexibility. The key to any business growth and profitability hinges on its ability to provide services that are best in industry and profitable to the business. Agile and customizable reporting is essential. AP reporting seems to be developed by assuming business want to be told what reporting is best and creating canned reports. While this may be true for some, its not the industry standard.
PROSCSM is flexible and the GUI are easy to understand. EMR standards are critical to our business and AP meets those standards.
CONSReporting is very limited and doesn't allow for Power-BI, SAAS, integrations. I would be a game changer to have access to daily downloads of the data tables for our business, or a full reporting suite that gives our reporting team and our Account Team the ability to create and automate reporting from the entire BI table for our company.

Reasons for switching to AestheticsPro
Terrible customer service and support. Constant changes in their billing practices and costs (price creep). Our clients found the customer portal confusing and inconsistent. Their API is a challenge and didn't play well with other software that they claim to be full integrated with.

Aesthetic pro for Medspa
Overall good once learning the program. The automated upgrade was extremely frustrating as no warning was given. Most info didn’t transfer over. When contacting customer service can’t really speak to anyone - put in a ticket and go from there.
PROSAn assortment of consents, instructions, ease of sending paperwork to clients before appointment. Ease of scheduling and payment.
CONSCustomer service is hard to get in contact with - actually speaking with a live person. Automatic upgrade is frustrating as no warning was given and most info didn’t transfer over.

Steer clear!!!
Set up was excruciatingly tedious. It is not user friendly at all.
PROSEasy to send an invoice / receipts. The customer service is ok.
CONSIt is so clunky, confusing and glitchy. I cannot express in words the frustration i have been experiencing.

Great Software for a great price!
It’s been a great experience. The EHR for charting is easy and convenient. The training sessions are always very informative. It’s nice to have an all-in-one system (charting, POS, marketing platforms, e-blasts, reports, photos, consents, treatment records, online booking). Very user friendly.

CONSSometimes the ticketing system can be annoying, although the support team does get back to you quickly.
