I've also used Square booking app and had some experience with Vagaro and Booksy. Boulevard stands out above them all. The daily calendar allows me to see who's working, and I can easily interface for available times,booking, client info, services offered and it's all color coded. You can switch between screens when checking clients in or out. I also get notifications on my phone when my client has arrived , as well as upcoming appointments. The belt in soap notes section is extremely helpful and I have the option to have the client update or add forms before coming in for their visit. This is just a small fraction of what this program does. Cons: The Phone app has some limitations.It's best used on a laptop or tablet to access all the features and expand the tabs. Previously we were using 3 platforms at Innova Wellness Spa and now we only have one. I love all of the incentive features for clientele such as memberships, loyalty point and promo codes. Cons: The lack of features and lack of consistency behind the current features. There have been times during checkout where the Duo system glitched, said a payment was processed yet the client was never charged or said a voucher was redeemed only for it not have been or it simply will not allow me to check out a client or cancel a pending transaction. Having to upload images one by one into a client's account is extremely time consuming. The lack of language options is a barrier for some of our Non-English speaking clients. There's been more things that have come up that I feel could be tweaked or incorporated. We’ve been using Boulevard for about a year and a half. The first year was excellent — no issues at all and it fit our needs perfectly. Over the past few months, however, we’ve experienced a growing number of glitches. In the last four weeks alone, the system has crashed twice, leaving us unable to schedule clients, check them out, or access previous notes. It’s incredibly frustrating and embarrassing to have to explain to patients that we can’t book appointments or process payments for services or products.
