Pros

This service was offered with Bloomerang when our non-profit sought to change routes with our online donations. They had very good customer service and a decent rate of percentages that were kept from donations.

Cons

While the rate was decent, I wish they would have had a cap on the amount taken per what was donated. As in, if someone donated $1000 online they would only take a percentage up to $500 instead of the whole $1000. This may have changed since we used it!

Scam company, would not recommend using them, lost way too much money fro their deal with the devil, if you have a business know that stripe not only not defending you they take money from your account and transfer it to scammers – scammers can just go to their bank say they never used your service and thats it they get their money back – i dont want to name other companies so you think im promoting someone but others will defend you.i have provided hard evidence including contracts invoices ID SSN you name it, always they find some excuse of ripping you offThey tell you every time they steal your money you can do things differently but you really cant just think that the scammers bank decide who wins is that a joke or what

Pros

easy platform to ones who familiar with systems like that - i dont find any more pros when it come to strip

Cons

stripe collborate with scammers - they will withdraw money from your account without asking you they will not protect your account or you as their customer

Overrated and a horrible value for your money

Cons

Our software chose Stripe as our dedicated payments processor because they promised superior customer service and competitive rates for our clients, but this was a mirage.Stripe abandoned us once we selected them as our payments processor. The Sales team disappeared once we signed a contract and support was limited to emails and chat - absolutely pathetic. Stripe nickled and dimed our clients and our company to death. During the sale process, Stripe promised to meet our beat our clients' rates, but in actuality, they completely screwed us. Clients of ours that were processing over per month were quoted rates + transaction fee. Stripe treated everyone of our clients as if they were a new business with no sales history. We have since abandoned Stripe for CardConnect - this is the best decision we have ever made!

We sell at craft fairs and expos as well as invoicing for freelance work and it is always good to have more gateways for clients - some people don't trust Paypal or Amazon etc so offering choices is offering peace of mind. We also build out websites for clients from time to time and being able to setup Stripe so their site is going to be able to deal with payments is great. Paypal and Stripe are the two gateways we use the most and I lean toward Stripe.

Pros

The peace of mind PCI compliant gateway with offsite data. The Stripe gateway, while not as pervasive as PayPal has established itself and has a lot of integration going on, almost anyplace you can plug in Paypal you can use Stripe.

Cons

I haven't seen a stand alone product for stripe the way Paypal has built their payment iOS app and more integration would always be better.

Although never experienced first-hand, it has been reported that Stripe can increase rates with high-risk industries. Might consider inquiring about your industry.

Pros

Aside from Paypal, Stripe offers one of the easiest and fastest way to setup a merchant account allowing for quick merchant setup. Unlike traditional merchant applications which can literally take 2-6 weeks, Stripe takes only a fraction of time and doesn't require the rigorous supporting documentation. Open for business from day one.

Value for Money

Checking out Stripe is a must for anybody running a subscription business. It'll save you a lot of headaches.

Pros

Stripe is getting a lot of buzz for a reason. They've made it incredibly easy to build a subscription business. And who doesn't want a subscription business these days? I find the platform very intuitive, and you can literally be billing customers within an hour. For developers, the API is truly best-in-class.

Cons

As it's newer on the scene than say PayPal, there are some tools that don't integrate with it yet (although, see comment on API in pros). I wish it was a little easier to send individual invoices from. I find the process off billing a customer once to be a little lackluster compared to setting up a subscription.

This runs our e-commerce website payment gateway, allowing us to accept credit card payments from anywhere in the world.

Pros

This was easy to incorporate into our website using Weebly. The amounts from our shopping basket automatically go into Stripe, which processes our payments from customers. You can also create payments from inside the dashboard for telephone orders (taking down the credit card details). You can accept payments in almost any currency, which is exchanged to your local currency.

Cons

The fees are not the lowest. Also, it takes around 1-2 weeks for the payment to reach our account after the order has been placed, it would be nice if this time was shorter.

Customers are able to pay for items on my website easily and with a beautiful user experience. The UI I can log into is nicely laid out, and I can find my way around with ease.

Pros

I integrated Stripe in my Wordpress eCommerce website. It was extremely easy to implement and set up. The UI is lovely and very easy to use. I can refund a customer within a few clicks.
It's a small fee when compared to eBay and Paypal which is where I also sell my products. The UI delivered on my website is very easy for the customer to pay and looks professional. I've never had to contact support but if I did, I imagine it's quick. I have double security set up so when I log in, I also get a text with a code I have to add in the website - I like this extra layer of security as it gives me peace of mind.

Cons

Recently my bank account needed updating in the system but I was confused why because it's not expired or anything. I wasn't told why. I logged in and updated it to the same card. Fine with me, I just was a bit confused.

Pros

Stripe's API documentation is the best feature about the product. Their "developer first" philosophy makes their service wonderful to work with. I've implemented multiple subscription systems and production payment options without any hitch.

Cons

I have NO complaints about this product and their services. They are wonderful and I truly believe they are and will be the industry leading option for implementing payment systems now and for the near future.
