Great service - frequently updated
Personal customer service - US based and because it's a smaller company you know each of the service technicians.
CONSSome of the enhanced features are more difficult to use, but personalized training is available. And if the feature isn't ideal for you, just turn it off.

Datascan Winpharm
I have used the Datascan Winpharm system for over 30 years. Their staff and management have always been reliable, friendly, and responsive. Datascan has always accommodated all of our needs. I would NEVER consider changing software companies. They are the BEST Pharmacy Software company in the industry today.
PROSThe Winpharm system is easy to use and simple to understand. It allows us to fill a high volume of prescriptions in an accurate and safe manor, while still monitoring our cost and protecting our bottom line.
CONSThere are no major problems that come to mind.

its the main software we use at the pharmacy
still learning it, I can fill my prescriptions and bill insurance
PROSThe icons are easy to read, you can click on them and find you patients easily. customer support is readily available and very helpful.
CONSyou have to back out of the patient if you are not in the correct screen, you can look at the profile but you can not fill from the profile if you are not in the fill screen.

Winpharm is a great system!
Winpharm is a smaller company that delivers big. I love that I have a relationship with them, and know their employees well. Additionally, they are quick to respond to problems, are readily available to answer phones and emails, and are always available to hear from me.. the customer!
PROSI enjoy the software, the support staff, and the company as a whole. Their features and updates are first-class and relatively easy to operate, and operate quickly and efficiently.
CONSThere aren't any real cons. All systems have flaws, bugs, and errors. Winpharm works quickly to correct errors and does so in a very competent manner.

Taconic Pharmacy
Datascan's winpharm system is without a doubt the easiest system I have ever used while still offering hundreds of different modifications and additions when/if needed. The staff and customer service level cannot be rivaled in my opinion either.
PROSThe various programs required in running a retail business with a pharmacy and integrated completely. Ease of use is amazing allowing new staff to be trained quickly.
CONSI have no specific function or feature that I would say I dislike
