The tax cal rates are reliable and the dashboard is easy to use.

The ability to file all states and internationally. Great guidelines and links on various help needs.

I like that it calculates the tax for our customers on our web store automatically. It integrates with our WooCommerce site.

My experience has been awful. I had to request a new sales person in the beginning because I couldn't get him to send me a quote.

Although I haven't used this software yet yet but  it looks good.

They lied took our money and couldn't help. Was completely incompetent  of the tax laws.

Good quality people, expertise and concern with perfection of product. We were a bit oversold on connectors, etc.

Tons of issues, then their customer service doesn't respond to cases for weeks at a time. Just a really horrible customer experience.

Is there any way, to put the company name in the Excel file we upload, so there is less risk to upload datas in the wrong company.

Customer service is wonderful. They are quick to respond to questions and are always willing to help.

Big improve, make that massive improvement over  Vertex. In fairness, the move to Netsuite solidified the Avalara move.

Reminds me of the old Microsoft model (maybe still current model?) and it can be very irritating. If you have a tax problem, the last thing you need is more costs and a wait time.

Terrible customer service; sales approach incomplete.

The features I like most about the system are: Ease of use, functionality and integration with other systems.

I like the ease of use - the drop downs and categories are perfect.

Easy to implement as it integrates directly with our ERP system, NetSuite.

It does not work, Avalara collects the wrong amount of sales tax for each state.

Their responses are indifferent, cold explanations of the available options to resolve errors that they should have avoided from the get-go.

It is very user friendly. I love the way the returns are listed and you can go in and see what the return is going to be.

Certcapture provides the ability to create a campaign to email or fax customers for whom exempt certificates are required, and it makes it easy for them to supply the certificate(s).

It is always a pleasure to deal with everyone. They have the most amazing yearly meeting it is always beneficial and you always learn more and more.

Avalara has made it easier for our company to be in compliance with all the states. I love that it is easy to use and has good customer service.

So far its been great and reliable. Looking forward to the new features rolling out in the coming years.

Technology and software seems pretty solid so far.

I liked that it integrated with all of our platforms (i.e. NetSuite, Magento and future state Shopify+) and the quoted price came in much lower than other comparative software solutions.

This product has been a great tool for our company.

We upload our transactions on a monthly basis rather than using the live feed. It has been working great until recently.

I think many will upgrade to the full version in time. From what I can tell, it is the best value.

I love not having to buy an expensive enterprise software solution. TaxCloud works seamlessly across multiple platforms and is designed to scale with my business needs.

TaxCloud seems to have been improved significantly with a better UI.

Before I was even able to access the full functionality I received an invoice for a time period before I even had signed up for taxcloud. They admitted it was erroneous and corrected it.

The best is it is up to date in all city and local taxes that can change in an instance. We saved some money from a local tax that had expired.

It should make dealing with taxes easy, but the setup and end user experience is horrible. Not sure how you can have a company function with this type of customer service.

At first customer service seems a concern. However, this is short lived once the immediate anxiety of employing a new service is overcome.

Support and customer service really matters, and TaxCloud severely lacks it. This entire experience shows me that they care more about their monthly charges than keeping satisfied customers.

So far so good, they have been responsive to my support questions and have made handling sales tax easy for my ecommerce store.

Weeks go by with no responses to calls or emails.

It appears to be better than most as far as a learning curve. I did not use it as too much, as I have decided to retire.

Easy integration with shopping cart. Well documented user and technical guides.

TaxCloud is hard to compare with competitors because I've only ever used them. In my limited experience with TaxCloud I didn't notice anything to be missing that I needed.

Overcharged by $1k over the course of 2 months and refuse to talk to me, answer the phone or resolve the issues. They will change your subscription and there is no way to revert.

The service has been completely re-engineered and is much improved. The new reporting and customer interface are superior to anything else on the market.

The concept is wonderful, your account is easy to understand, the map  and sales tax information is great.

Software integrated well. Problems caused mayhem with no fix.

Difficult to determine if uploads have been received at Tax Cloud.

I tried the paid option and it worked wonderfully at first.

Sometimes with the integration with our ERP we have noticed conflicting sales taxes.

I love the ease of which it works when it works. But when you do need help it is virtually impossible to receive it timely.

Very poor customer service - takes days to respond to technical issues.

Before their pricing model changed, it was a perfect solution for small companies who needed just the basics of sales tax support. It was fairly easy to integrate, and reported accurately.

I have been using tax cloud and still am for over 4 years now they have great Service great prices and good work.

Integration into Odoo CRM was easy. TaxCloud is perfect for those who have very little technical skills or low skills in accounting this software will assist in reports and calculations for you.

While the actual software works fine, I absolutely cannot recommend a company that treats their customers like this.

However, as of now, almost two months later they repeatedly say they will get back to me with an update and fail to follow through.

I was so excited about the service.I filled everything out, I added my bookkeeper, I read a bunch of great information, learned about a few of the states and their  the tax laws.
