It provides good functionality and information as needed, along with good reporting and adhoc event reporting.

The price is attractive at first but then it adds up. We failed compliance and audit because their log storage can't retrieve log files.

The application takes forever to load and is difficult to use.

The user interface is very easy to use, and the customer support is excellent. The software is web-based so our administrators can open it via a browser from different locations.

It is difficult to search and generate reports. Adding extra alerts is difficult or not possible.

We can see what new Windows processes are running (good or unwanted), connections to risky IP addresses. Preventative alerts for low disk space on servers has prevented unwanted down-time.

Pricing was very favorable against QRadar, LogRhythm and that is really the only positive I can find in my experience.

Basically contemporary UI features are omitted here for some reason, and we therefore avoid using the product to the extent possible.

Its thoroughness is a primary asset. Its usefulness as a security compliance tool makes it a necessary part of our hosting suite.

The ease of set up and the ability to pick and chose what devices you could monitor vs all in was a highlight.

EventTracker is a great asset in our security toolbox.

We are a MSSP and we use Eventtracker for log and event management and it is hands down the best featured product in the market for the price.

I have used this tool for a year and it has been very useful, I have passwords for many sites saved and I can share them safely with my co-workers.

The master password recovery is a bit clunky. I have had to reset my password before and the experience was awful.

LastPass have a lot of good, one of the main things is I could use it on Linux which was a big plus. I also like that it has a two-factor authentication if you want to use that.

I love the organization of the passwords and ease of finding them when needed. I like how they populate on their own.

Great product with great customer support however its missing a huge feature in regex URL matching.

It takes a little getting used to, and it is sad how weak our existing passwords are when you take the security challenge.

You can add logins from anywhere and use it everywhere. I had forgotten my Master Password and my interaction with customer service was very pleasant.

Customer support for LastPass is great has helped me with any issues i have ran into.

I love that it will generate your password so that they are more secure and that I do not have to keep a password list any longer.

It has great recognition at capturing passwords and supplying them in the relevant places. The sharing functionality is also strong.

Sometimes, I'll try and log into a site with a personal log in that is not kept in LastPass and it can be frustrating to get around it.

Good enterprise product with  strong customer support.

If you get logged out, it can be a bit scary because getting back in is very annoying.

Protected with the best security possible. Quit using that excel spreadsheet you have saved on your desktop and join the modern world.

LastPass for Business is worth the price. We're glad we moved to the business plan.

LastPass is a password management solution for consumers and businesses that allows users to store their passwords in a digital vault. It uses single sign-on with password vaulting to protect users’ passwords. Users can save the websites into which they login frequently. They can also import websites from their email accounts or other password manager tools.


LastPass uses AES-256 bit encryption with PBKDF2 SHA-256 and salted hashes for securing data in the cloud. The user data is encrypted and decrypted at the device level. The multi-factor authentication makes users enter both username and password to access their LastPass account.


Other features include a password generator, encrypted file storage, family manager dashboard, group management and cloud app provisioning. Pricing is per user per month.
