I got this tool for captioning initially, now I use it for all my videos. It's easy to use and the support was good.

The recent update to removing filler words has been cutting off words from either side of the filler word.

I love using this for podcast editing because it's so easy. I can edit out filler words quickly, and I love having a transcript of the episode ready for some quick edits.

I love how simple it is to use. I love how I can open it up, it's organized, easy to start a new project, edit away, and export easily to other applications as well as .mp3 or.

And when I asked a sound technician to check my quality he was impressed with the sound. The room tone is a great addition.

However, even though those additions have been more than welcome, what I consider the platform's top feature is something that has been at its core for quite some time: Descript's transcription tool.

There have been two occasions in last few months where Descript just stopped working. I lost days' worth of work on broadcast critical projects.

My overall experience with Descript has been wonderful. I wouldn't recommend it to my new podcasting clients if it wasn't a solid product with good customer support.

The product has so many features and i am learning new features everyday. Love that i can eliminate 4-5 pieces of software.

Perhaps stupidly, i carried on using Descript. A month or so later a Composition (their name for a document within a project) I was working on just stopped working.

The integrated transcription function is really useful and the Overdub feature is very cool for being able to make edits without re-recording and splicing in audio.

I wish they had an affiliate program because I would be making some money. Lol My only issue is with the screen recording but understand this is a new feature and they are still working out the bugs.

Remove your filler words with one click One of the most amazing things is that you can remove the filler words with one click. It’s also super easy to use.

And they seem to always show up, even when they've been corrected previously, so it's unclear whether the 'machine' is actually 'learning.

Love that they also make such regular improvements based on customer needs. Great customer service, great product.

Overall, I'm thrilled with what Descript has brought to my show. I'm even more excited to post new episodes now because I know each week the listeners are getting a better and better show.

It is very inexpensive compared to other tools or hiring freelancers. Descript enables me to make more high-quality content, and repurpose existing content into other formats.

I love how easy it is once it is set up to create a project, drag a video in, and get an entire transcription for it without taking almost any time.

I have found Descript easy to use, fantastic that I can see the transcript and manipulate it to get the recording that I need. The drag and drop of video and music is so easy and brilliant.

It can be a bit confusing with a steep learning curve initially. It took some time to get set up and used to.

It will require some work on your end is you need it presentable, but I’d you’re just using it for recordings, it does a really great job.

I love they're constantly adding new features and now I can do my video and audio editing in one place. The pricing is fair for the AI transcription service.

In particular, I was really impressed by the accuracy of the transcription tool's AI.

I love it and recommended it to many who are using it successfully. One the one hand it’s quicker to edit but takes longer because I can create more assets.

That there is no way to edit two separate tracks in one audio. I.e. two people speaking with their own audios).

The ability to organise, collaborate and publish an audio project in the cloud with a friendly interface is great and used to be a huge pain to figure out.

The Sequence feature is still a mystery to me. I'm not sure why there is a composition and a sequence option, but I do see the difference. I think it would make more sense to have them combined.

Compared to other products, the voice options in Lovo are significantly better. It is also quite easy to use.

But Lovo has various unique features that I like. The ability to generate voice-over for videos, such as e-learning, is great.

At this price point, I think it is a no-brainer addition to your toolbox. I will test it more and if needed update my review, but for now, I can definitely recommend LOVO.

You can't trust this company and its software. They DELETE VOICES without warning, with no explanation and no apology or understanding of the customer perspective at all.

While UI/UX is very easy to use, but it feels a bit too plain and boring.

I like the selection of voices and given the ability pick the one that is suitable for your project.

When I first started with LOVO Studio, they were a brand new product and there were some occasional errors. However, I have seen this company grow and their product has matured.

The choice of voices for each language is little limited. More voice samples can be added.

The way they work with paragraphs. It is hard to control how lines and paragraphs are treated manually and it will cost you a lot of time.

LOVO is very easy to use and I really like the outputs that are natural and not robotic like other tools.

Not enough Ukrainian voices (need males, older people). Also, would want more moods (angry, sad and happy) to tweak all voices.

There are limits to the amount of text you can input at any one time, and there are limits that are too low for the monthly allowance.

Good quality TTS voices. Simple UI improve voice emphasis output with pauses and speed rate.
