In conjunction with Amazon, AIPEX has developed special software that will allow businesses to convert a standard Echo device into a customized guest portal. This means that teams can take advantage of the huge investment Amazon has made in this technology, and re-purpose it to benefit guests in the hospitality businesses. The guest portal provides quick and easy access to information about the property and the local area. Guests crave recommendations to go places and do things that you as the host can share with them, based on your local knowledge. AIPEX Pricing

In the AIPEX portal, you can enable or disable the Virtual Concierge service at your properties. When enabled, 1 credit is consumed per day. When the service is disabled, no credits are consumed. The base price for a credit is .40 USD, with quantity discounts of up to 40%. As an example, a purchase of 300 credits is eligible for 20% off. That means you can provide this service to your guests for a 3-night stay for less than $1 USD.

Guests love it

Great customer support, and very helpful short videos available on their website for self-help.

PROS

Comments from guests about how they were impressed that we had this tech available in our vacation rental.

CONS

I had to add the device twice because I didn't realize I wasn't supposed to put spaces when entering the serial number.

Reason for choosing AIPEX

After researching how to use Amazon Alexa in an Airbnb, there is really no other company besides AIPEX that is providing a solution like this to differentiate short-term rentals with technology.

Cleaner coordination

PROS

We use this tool to really quickly communicate that the cleaning is done at the property. Most of the features are guest-facing, but there are also internal communication features. We just say "Alexa, cleaning is done" and the management is notified.

CONS

It would be nice if over time there was the capability to say "Alexa, housekeeping needs supplies" and be able to alert management to the need to resupply our cleaning products.

A Wonderful addition to our Vacation Rentals

The Virtual Concierge has been great in providing information to the guests and providing a mechanism for the guests to more easily get information and communicate back with the property management.

PROS

Being able to provide a solution to answer so many of our frequently asked questions has been a great value to us and reduced the number of texts and calls to the management. The guests are impressed by the technology and the capabilities.

CONS

To get the most of the product you need to provide as many answers as you can, which can take a bit of effort. However, I have found that this is an investment in reducing future calls and questions.

We didn't find any products that were comparable that had enterprise capabilities.
