itPBX delivers a suite of business communication services to small and mid-sized organizations. The system is cloud-based eliminating the need to install additional hardware. Beyond PBX, call recording, computer telephony integration, conference calling, auto attendant, internet fax, and softphone are all integrated in the software.

itPBX offers three plans with varying features and tools, allowing companies to select only the services that meet their needs. Each comes with free local and toll free numbers, unlimited calling, cloud PBX, virtual fax, and advanced call management. Some other features include caller ID, call parking, instant call control, VMX locater, call spy, dictation, and remote users.

They’re a fit for a variety of industry verticals like energy, finance, healthcare, manufacturing, entertainment, and nonprofit. Phone hardware is available from multiple manufacturers.

Their customer service is great! Our previous provider was bad about using off-shore support technicians and it would take days for us to get a response when we submitted a ticket. The staff at itPBX always respond and are very professional and helpful. They helped us set our entire system up including our auto attendant, call routing, on-hold music, and call schedules. Some of these things can be very difficult to do for non-technical users. Really pleased with the level of help they offer.

We had to purchase new phones when we switched from our landline phones, but they gave us great deals on the hardware.


We had to get a dedicated internet connection for our phone system when we switched from our landlines to VOIP. This is going to be necessary for any business that makes the switch and has more than a couple of phones. If you're looking to make a switch to VOIP, I would definitely recommend getting a dedicated line for your phones. The staff at itPBX were also able to help give us some recommendations because they also provide IT support services. We have about 40 phones and use a T1 for them and it works great for our phone system.
