Great tools for task management and organization. And good integration with email for less technical users can email responses to questions.

I just found it boring that you can only view one person's task list at a time, if you have a project with multiple members, it makes it difficult.

It is integrated with limited software which restricts to carry out multidimensional projects. It’s pricing is also very high, it restrict its use for small organizations.

User-friendly, intuitive, great for collaborating and keeping track, excellent for remote work, super nice choice.

It has been a huge asset and we have all loved watching the progression of projects and campaigns we are working on.

Lot of functionalities like to-dos, message boards, Schedule. Really great if you work in a team and also really fast to communicate with your client via customer support or with your teamates.

I could see it being a useful tool for managing satellite volunteer groups. It was a good experience, and provided the means to have good conversation, generate some ideas, and post documents.

What I love about most about Basecamp is the ability to communicate and have ongoing conversations with people who are involved in the project.

The cost and ease of use, it's very straightforward. Being able to track what everyone assigned to a certain task/project is doing, and ensuring deadlines/goals are being met are great.

VERY difficult to learn and get used to the dynamics.

There are a ton of options for customization and it's super easy to use once you know how each form works. The grids are amazing and the reporting options are great for customization.

Conversion support was poor. Software setup and daily use is not intuitive.

Unfortunately customer support is not always readily available which can be difficult when your stuck.

Absolutely horrific implementation team, we wasted a huge amount of money with their implementation folks before giving up and going with a consultant.

Viewpoint is a great software tool I have been using for about two years now, and it has been great.

The functions are pretty easy to figure out and understand. The Clearview resource that comes with Viewpoint is an amazing source of information regarding functionality and capabilities.

It was so bad that we ended up abandoning the software after spending a pile of money.

Also, if you are not a report writer or large enough company to have one on staff, it can be costly to hire that out.

The flexibility and alleged open access for this price range is the best. If it was true and worked, it would be a stellar option for companies that have unique processes that need unique solutions.

Vista by Viewpoint is so much more user friendly that Timberline. We are able to integrate with Procore for seamless transfer of data between the programs.

The integration was very poorly done, and we are still experiencing problems related to poor set-up over a year later even though we paid thousands and thousands of dollars for Viewpoint specialists.

Great Software very up to date, easy to understand and learn and I have always had excellent Support.

But in the long run, they became their own worst enemy when they decided as a group to internally make the changes to the software they shouldn't have from the beginning.

Viewpoint Vista is a cost effective and powerful ERP for contractors.

BTW, the renaming to Vista was a bad choice. MS Vista was the biggest operating system failure in history.

Really spend time with a current user, inquire about custom setups and pay a lot of attention to your initial setups. A bad implementation will be difficult to fix.

Overall Vista is great for accounting and project financials. I use the the project specific financial forms the most and it allows for easy tracking and storing of invoices and expenses.

Simple to use, but does amazing things as far as reporting goes The vendor is also great to work with, in my experience they have always been quick to offer help and answer questions.

The customer service is terrible. You cannot call a number and talk to a person.

They have a good mix of younger and older experienced talent on their team and are willing to buy vs. build a better solution for their user community.

I don't like when I get stuck on a field and you need to enter something but you can't seem to get back to the field. It keeps giving you an error message.

Stay FAR AWAY from Viewpoint's implementation folks, they are clueless and you will waste money on them. Use an outside consultant to get your software implemented.
