Resource Guru is a web-based resource scheduling application that enables organizations to swiftly schedule their resources. This software is suitable for organizations of all sizes.
Resource Guru’s “Resource Scheduling” feature enables flexible booking and rescheduling with the help of a specific time calendar and drag-and-drop functionality. The “Availability bar” calculates the amount of free time available to prevent the unnecessary use of resources. In addition, the software allows users to assign colors to highlight specific resources and projects for scanning and picking.
The “Resource Management” feature allows users to manage people, conference rooms, call lines or any other resource and share it on a single coordinated calendar. Moreover, administrators can customize access per each project’s requirements.
Resource Guru creates real-time reports to provide status information about the utilization of resources and free capacity. The software is highly secured and utilizes 256-bit SSL encryption for data transfer.

Resource Guru has been fantastic to work with. They have always had excellent customer service, their product is easy to use, and the bills are on-time and consistent. At this point, Resource Guru is a staple program for our college TV station.
The only thing that I would change would be allowing for custom fields on resource checkouts as a standard. There is currently a large text box for any comments, but it would be great to have the ability to name and create one line text options if you use them for every checkout.
If you need solid tracking of resource materials, this is the best. The ability to upload photos, archive resources (i.e. take them out of rotation) and easily bring them back saves hundreds of hours a year in human capital tracking down "misplaced" equipment. As long as you are consistent with tracking all of your resources whenever they are used, expect a dramatic reduction in the amount of time spent locating resources.
