VirtualPBX is a scalable, hosted PBX suitable for small to midsize businesses with up to 100 employees. Instead of outsourcing support to overseas call centers, VirtualPBX offers free, U.S.-based support. Installation includes pre-configured IP phones; the system can also route calls to mobile phones and analog desk phones. Service is priced at a per-line per-month rate, and SIP trunking can be added for a single-provider communications solution.
Users can customize their settings at any time via VirtualPBX’s Web portal. Moreover, VirtualPBX manages network updates for all users. VirtualPBX also operates Parachute, an off-site failover system, which allows businesses to maintain remote access to phone systems in emergencies.
VirtualPBX service includes a full suite of PBX and call center applications, such as an auto attendant, computer telephony integration for screen pops, Internet fax support and a mobile softphone app that allows users to use mobile devices as PBX extensions.
