EZOfficeInventory is a cloud-based inventory management solution designed for companies of all sizes. It offers barcode scanning, supplier management, re-order management, purchasing and usage tracking.

The inventory management functionality of the solution allows users to track inventory levels using QR codes and barcode tags. EZOfficeInventory features a mobile app with the barcode and QR code scanning functionality, which allows users to track their inventory using mobile devices.

GPS tracking capabilities allow users to track items’ location. This feature helps users track their assets on an interactive map and identify lost and misplaced assets. The solution offers a REST-based API that integrates with other REST-based systems.

Customized reporting and dashboards help users track and monitor assets and users are able to analyze historical inventory data and make decisions regarding their inventory management practices. The solution integrates with third-party applications such as Zendesk, Dropbox, Salesforce and OneLogin. Pricing is per month and is based on a number of users and items. Support is through email.

Anything I had an issue with I emailed them about & some were included in future enhancements rolled out.

Pros

I really like the reporting features & ability to create custom fields. If you dream it, you can track it. I've created custom fields to not only track certain items for reporting purposes, but have created some to provide me automated notifications.

Pros

The inventory management system has definitely saved our business time and energy in tracking inventory. It's not the most beautiful design, but what it lacks in looks it makes up for in functionality.

Cons

I've looked at other options with a better interface, user experience that were also less expensive, but this inventory management system really met all of our needs.

Its functionality and ability to deliver accurate results in real time.
The organisation is able to minimise and seal loopholes exploited in theft of organisation assets and products

Cons

It requires quite a considerable amount of time to understand it and learn how to use it efficiently
It also requires hiring of a technician to run it and offer support before the organisation fully adopts and embraces it

This software is taking me from several huge spreadsheets and no photos to a streamlined, searchable, history tracking, photo attached inventory system. No longer do I have to track multiple files and spreadsheets. It is all in one place.

Pros

It is FAST and very simple to use. I can change records so easily if I need to correct or edit anything. Adding custom fields is great for unique data. Searching is with the ability to search multiple terms at once. Filtering allows me to further 'drill down'. The three different types of items make it simple to separate company owned, client owned and disposable inventory. Adding photos and other documents is also very easy. Managing photos is fairly simple, but see 'cons' below. User permission has a very deep control mechanism allowing viewability to be finely tuned and managed as needed. The cart feature is awesome for checking out multiple items at once. You can then check in the same cart for fast returns. Searching with the mobile app via text, or scanning QR codes is blazing fast. Zero time is wasted waiting on EZO. Any lag is all on me. I use this software to track items in a photo studio, the things that belong to our clients that we are photographing. As such, we must isolate those items so that there is no client crossover. This works great!

Cons

As of this writing (5/2018) the view is not 'responsive' to your screen size. It is also not possible to manually resize column widths. Some views allow you to hide the right sidebar while others do not. This is promised to be an updated feature coming in 7/2018. When interacting with individual records after a search, it is not possible to return to the search results. The search must be repeated. There is no feature to create shelf barcode or QR code labels. Must use external software, but you can easily link those, one by one.

We were able to start tracking our inventory efficiently. It was something that allowed us to organize a process around and allow multiple users to input data.

Pros

I like the abilities and functionality. I like that it is fast and that I can manipulate fields. It is a good system to start tracking inventory on and to get your internal process started.

Cons

I don't like that it seems to be not user friendly. Reports cannot be manipulated as much as I'd prefer.

I find it difficult to customize the software to fit the organisations needs and feel that the software manufacturers can look into this as each client has different needs that can't always be solved by the general customization.

We're able to keep track of the whereabouts of all our assets and view upcoming usage to avoid conflicts when scheduling asset management. The interface is simple and intuitive, with just the right amount of features to be incredibly useful without overly complicated.

Pros

Software is streamlined to not include bells and whistles that I don't need and would have to pay extra for. The bar code scanning feature makes checkin and out a snap!

Cons

The only negative experience so far was that as the administrator, I received a separate email each time any activity occurred, resulting in over a hundred emails when employees were checking in gear. This was resolved via user settings however.

Like I said prier that we have only been using it for a few weeks but have notice that they have put a lot of thought in the program. The feature and the function are user friendly, I like how you can personalize PO and Work orders in your own format.

Cons

I was told when I purchase that Work order were just added and it was still under development . Having work order take inventory out of stock will rally be a big help for are process.

The best part of this software is honestly the support. They're more than willing to help show the product off, be flexible with trials, explain the best way to use the software.

Cons

For a large # of items, cost can be a concern, but it's money well spent as it's an entirely cloud-based solution with features you'd expect of a more expensive / on prem solution.

Pros

A wide range of features and functionality on a high level
Covers the most painful issues in the scope of inventory management

Cons

Not adapted to metric system. Localization would be a plus.
Issues with addresses acceptance: e.g. 10/23 building number is accepted as 10.
Screen structure of the asset list: space wasted, more information may be displayed.

EZ Inventory does what it says.

Pros

Easy of use and cloud use! Switched from Wasp after not having the ability to monitor my inventory from a mobile device, (phone/tablet)

Cons

The Dashboard is pretty basic and could use an upgrade. Also the reporting is really basic. We need to run reports on a per user basis and can't seem to. I rated customer support so low because they offer to have someone call you but after emailing and calling no one ever returns the call or email. Would be nice if the "on-boarding" process was better and I was valued as a customer to get a phone or email link to set a demo for training.

Excellent management of our 1000 or so Engraved Asset Items. Excellent Customer Service. A few things to work on with EZO

Pros

Easy to Use (once Settings verified), Handles Simple Inventory very well. Needs more work on Adding Locations at Checkout stage, Checkout Dates & Times and Transfer Custody updates. EZO are supposedly working on this for us. Very grateful EZO gave us Time to get things right before we Subscribed.

Cons

Not too many (if any) as EZO have been very accommodating. Simple INs and Outs are a breeze.
Not sure how the other functions perform as our system is small (up to 1000 items) and all are engraved.

Pros

The software is easy to use and gives the admin correct right to handle the users. Handling and managing of assets is easy even for a new user.

Cons

Sometimes it comes to a point that it loads too long and every page is loading, kind of hard if you want to omit/ tick the checkboxes of 3 to 5 pages.

The system is extremely easy to set up and implement.

Pros

It allows to send emails to users with over due equipment, and also to run reports against the equipment.

Cons

Some features are impossible to disable which clutter the screen and make your onboarding process for new users more complex.

Easy to use. We were able to get a POC up and running within a matter of hours. I was able to provision people quickly and easily.

Cons

I'd like pre-made label formats for Avery labels in the designer. It look a fair bit of time and effort to get the labels laid out the way I wanted them.
