Pros
- The product is incredibly powerful. In my opinion, there are two core functions: on the one hand, you can use Citavi to organize materials (like papers and other files).
- It's absolutely essential for me and I would highly recommend it. I've also found the Citavi support team to be outstanding - very knowledgeable and I've always received a response within 24 hours.
Cons
- Problem: We have a collection of now over 10.000 titles listed in the software Citavi, many of them kept in over 33 folders. With those consecutive numbers we could find them easily.
- Some of the features can be difficult to find and require many clicks to get to.
Pros
- Dropbox is pretty good about storage and pricing for that storage. Pretty easy to share files to co-workers and give share permissions.
- This product is easy to setup and use which make sit great as far as training goes. It can be used as a cloud data repository, shared and has great logging as to who did what and when.
Cons
- Constantly changing UX - sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse. Suffers from a bit of UX identity crisis.
- I was a team of one in the beginning and i still had to pay a ridiculous $75/month just to use it for myself.
