The Docstar software makes it easy to get my hands on any historical document related to any of our customers very quickly.

I love the integration with Epicor and the workflow approvals.

Very happy overall and would purchase it again if needed.

They keep charges in Y that would have already been paid as part of X.  Double-dipping. Their accounting team is inflexible and will refuse to work with you to resolve the problem.

Cost of ownership - affordable, feature rich system.

Pretty easy to use and upload copies of checks and to file when done. Everything is user friendly.

There are some functionality gaps but they would apply to only the largest of companies. I've got no real complaints with the product; most of what I encountered are experiential things.

Sometimes it's more complicated than it needs to be to build a workflow. The need to download some files in order to view them is bothersome.

Web based GUI is easy to navigate and clean. Install is not difficult.

The thing that has made DocStar helpful at all has been the fact that our accounting team created detailed tutorials for staff use.

Trying to find documents for audits was a tedious, costly process and storing documents in file cabinets exposes our organization to theft and loss.

It has the ability to be highly customized and accommodate complex workflows. Does great at retaining images of documents and the search functions are usable and logical.

We also use it for our A/P and locating assets within the township. Docstar integrates with our GIS systems and makes it very easy to locate documents, permits and any assets with a click of a button.

The integration is Static. Once you run the workflow, the links are no longer live.

The program crashes often and seems to randomly lose documents all the time, and its user interface isn't the friendliest.

I found it very user friendly and easy to set up. I looked at several different programs at the time and very glad I choose DocStar.

Once you understand where everything is, navigation throughout the system is pretty straightforward. Form templates can have as much, or as little data fields as needed.

DocStar is good for those who don't work with expense reports often as it is very baseline as far as advancements go.

Batch importing thru email, hot folder, xml or csv comes free. Full MS Office integration and virtual print driver come free.

We hope to take advantage of integration with Epicor and finding documents within the sales order.

The feature that I like the most about the softwareis its ability to help us organize our documents.

Lack or ready report, lack of ready workflow, lack of full Kinetic feature in ECM that works, bugs all around related to Kinetic.

I can only view previously filed documents. All of this is making it very difficult to do my job.

Lack of documentation on how to use the software or how to customize it. Difficultly customizing the software so that users can use it.

Customer service is worthless, upgrading from the previous version to this one took twice as long as quoted, everything about this program is cumbersome and harder than it should be.

Past and present employee information is always at your fingertips. Fingertips that no longer have to deal with constant paper cuts.

Haven't found anything we don't like about this software.

Storing content digitally will give us a fast return on investment in labor and storage. Finding new uses for the solution all the time.

I have almost 20 years experience with competing content management platforms so I'm not new to it. I know what I want them to do and how I want them to do it.

We met with the top 4 or 5 vendors in addition to docSTAR and docSTAR met every one of our requirements.

System is very user friendly and able to retrieve a document in seconds rather than deal with paper files.

Very satisfied with the system and would highly recommend.

Most importantly, DocStar's customer service has been TOP NOTCH...although to be fair, we hardly ever have to call them since the solution is so stable.

I love how the oganization of the pages feels natural, and it is easy to navigate and find what you need.

Nice commenting and editing features. Great collaboration (writing at the same time).

I like that I can easily control who sees what conversation and who is notified on projects, documents, and messages that I post.

The software is easy to use, covers so many various aspects of business that you are then able to end using so many other apps.

The best part about this product is the customer service.

Our teams use Teamwork Spaces exclusively now. I like that it helps to keep the information right with the project and we don't have to search for what we need.

Easy to use, supports revision, has the ability to require reading and sign off on it, supports notifying watchers of changes to a document.

Integrates easily with Teamwork Projects. Loads of features for the cost.

I really can't think of anything missing at the moment.

Overall good, the support team is friendly and the tool does what you need it to do for the most part.

Been cool made it improved communication, we use it for lots of planning and and documentation everything in one place is awesome.

Easy to follow documentation, great customer service and they are constantly improving or adding great features. Their design team actually listens to customer feedback.

Not possible to simultaneously work together on an article. Inserting URL links in editor mode can crash sometimes.

I truly enjoy working in Teamwork Spaces - the Live Widgets are awesome. Being able to edit the pages at the same time by multiple users is very powerful.

No option to migrate content between Spaces, meaning that it had to be manually done when we moved to a new teamwork site.

What I like the most is  the ease of creating our operations manual and to be able to share it with our clients.

If you you use Teamwork projects and you are un a Budget this is a good tool to use.

Easy to use, and relatively easy to collaborate with other users, and required reading feature is nice.

We're excited to build this out even further and increase efficiency across the organization.

Some items cannot be copied and pasted from the editor such as the alerts or table of contents elements so if you are trying to cut and paste sections you may run into problems.

Spaces is very easy to use and has great tutorials and support, which is a huge plus when you're rolling out to your team, regardless if that's in-office or remote.

Quick ability to enter data in a format that is deliverable quality.

Love the integration into Projects, the ability to share with clients is very cool. Our clients have been loving how professional documents look when they receive the link.

Sometimes the formating within the space can be limited, eg images often take up more space than I would prefer and integrating them within text can be difficult and breaks up the copy.

And I appreciate how the articles can be integrated with Teamwork Projects when applicable.

Tables are clunky and horrible to use. Insertion of pictures is also clunky and unreliable.

I love that Spaces integrates with Projects. The ability to assign a training and attach a task list to it is very functional and has allowed us to bring our training internal.

The tool is even missing some of the options that are available in the code block feature in Teamwork Projects including our primary language.

Some missing text format options. No read only for external (not payed) users.

Teamwork Spaces is a knowledge management software designed to help businesses in the education, finance and other sectors collaborate with teams to build and share content with clients. Administrators can include images, diagrams, tables, videos and other resources in documents.
