The interface is not user friendly which was made worse by the implementation of 3.4.

I have had the privilege of being a part using Calyx team for an impressive span of 21 years.

I've used several of the biggest name products (Encompass, Genesis, LendingQB) and Point offers some of the best feature/price balance available. It does NOT try to be all things - it's an LOS.

It is awesome that i can separate their profile to different folders i wish to have as long as it is connected with my computer's jungle disc.

Combined with a hosted server, it's very secure, easy to navigate, and integrates with all the major players in the space.

Horrible, this company should not be in business. I will be looking for new software.

I shopped for better value (price and feature) systems, and didn't find any.

It is not designed with common sense. Only an idiot that has never done a single loan designed this.

It's 2018 and this is a dos program that is not web based. Their thing about security is lame and pathetic.

Again, there is NO communication that the issue has been corrected. Almost every update they send out introduces a new problem that then requires another update.

You send an email and they direct you to call. Very frustrated with the service.

I used this daily and loved the format and all the functions for mortgage origination.

There are a lot of things that require customization and template-setting at the beginning. This is extremely time-consuming and costly.

Why would you release something with errors throughout.

They have updated software now but Calyx will always be my favorite.

Furthermore, what truly sets Calyx apart is the genuine compassion and dedication exhibited by its staff, who consistently prioritize the needs and satisfaction of their customers.

I am comfortable with it since I have used it for 18 years.

The easy to understand screens and the ease of tabbing to the next field.

I have integrated stand alone and hosted systems on many occasions. I love the completeness of this application.

Relatively easy set-up, lots of customizable options and interfaces with other vendors.

Calyx Point is an outstanding program and I highly recommend it to the mortgage industry.

It served the purpose of creating 3.2 files. En the 3.4 file was rolled out, it was completely botched by Calyx and forced us to move to another LOS.

Horrible product and worse support. It is sooooo bad that Desktop Underwriter has a section dedicated to Calyx (Not Byte or Encompass) to channel all those calls and tell you to call Calyx.

Product does exactly as it says and quickly. Variety of new products always come available which are competitive.

What I like the most with this software is that it keeps records from my clients and help me organize my files.

I liked that the screen and user interface are similar to the loan originator form.

Customer service is great and very helpful and informative.

I loved this software for originating mortgage loans. It's ease of use and step by step through the application process was the best for origination software in my opinion.

It is a bit difficult to navigate on this software if you are not very much familiar. It took me weeks to familiarize myself.

WARNING: Potential for expensive software failure ... unresolved.

I think that the software is not very intuitive and is a little tough to maneuver. It gets a little frustrating.

I have a current critical issue with the software and its been almost a week and no one has even bothered to call about the ticket that was created.

Calyx Point us  still not cloud-based. Customer service is absolutely terrible.

Setting up rules could be troublesome and small changes had large ripple effects.

Always a favorite over other programs. Use it in contract processing.

You cannot import a 3.4 which is very frustrating if you use a processor as most of us do. When changing figures the DTI calculation is incorrect most of the time.

No effort on Calyx part to correct problems that plague their software. Phone support is aware that major exist with the same issues for months but Calyx does nothing to correct the issue.

Calyx Point is a waste of money that I am stuck with for at least another 6 months.

Was extremely happy with the product after switching from encompass.

My experience was hard the first time working on it.

The ability for us to create our own custom platform to manage loans is great and the support has been amazing.

It does the core functions flawlessly. We still are waiting for better API integrations but they have come a long way.

It is very customizable and you can pretty much do anything you need to do. Some more complicated than others depending on the requirements on your business.

It's a pretty intuitive system and easy to understand how the buttons and commands function.

The system is highly customizable and easy to use. The NLS development and support teams are very responsive and willing to work with your business needs.

This has features that could be configured easily which is very helpful.

Bugs in new versions are unpredictable and annoying. Small companies generally do not have the resources to do extensive testing.

It needs to be more GUI driven. I guess maybe because we have not used it a lot, we are still learning but it seems hard to know where everything is without learning it first.

We like the ease of use of the software. Ability to solve our unique business needs.

Love the integrated ecosystem NLS has provided to Pay. Keeping our mutual customers within a user-friendly and seamless environment when making a payment is a huge value-add.

I suggest recording the user sessions and upload them so that it will be helpful for future reference and also help others who could not attend.

I use this software to bend down the cost curve during our rapid period of growth.

Upgrading too frequently and defects found during testing.

The restful API is going to really help our organization.

NortRidge's support of their NLS product is horrible.

The latency is the biggest complaint among staff, and there seems to be no readily available solution to fix this without going higher and higher up the chain of command.

Affordable, Not inexpensive or cheap. Excellent Consulting services on start up.

The ease of use and the custom features that they will develop for our users. The support is amazing as well.

Nortridge support and other staff have been invariably capable and friendly.

The bugs, and the lack of consistent documentation.

The Nortridge team is truly a PARTNER with us not just another vendor. Everyone on the Nortridge team seems to genuinely care about our business model and our goals at both a high-and detail-level.

Now we have some problems in the Reporting Metro2 with the DPD and the payment history.

It has overall been a great experience using NLS as a loan servicing system. I have used other systems for financial servicing but this system is the most user friendly one I have ever used.

The ease of custom reporting from the database, integration of complimentary software and great support from the Nortridge team top my list of LIKES.
