  • Pros

  • I like the brilliant features of Acuity Scheduling. Acuity Scheduling is amazing and reliable.
  • Super easy to use for me and my clients. Everyone has been super impressed with how easy it is to use.
  • There is also an API, with pretty good documentation. And my favourite part is that if you get stuck, the support team are friendly, responsive and more than happy to help.
  • Cons

  • When a patient cancels, there is only one alert and completely disappears from the calendar without warning.
  • I came very close to losing clients over their frustration in trying to figure out the startup process. One of the weakest points in this software is the fact that there is no "customer facing" help.
  • Sometimes my clients wouldn't remember the time properly, or I would forget to write it down. Now the appointment times are clear, and there is no way for us to forget or get the timing confused.

  • I love how they are constantly taking feedback and improving the software. I would and have recommended this to many of my colleagues.
  • It's ease of use, the soap notes are fantastic, and customer intakes are so easy and just automatically stored with the client, it seems simple but it is really really fantastic.
  • I like that they have virtual lessons to help clients navigate their system. Also, they are very affordable which is a big plus for me as I am a sole practitioner.
  • Cons

  • I sometimes don’t change and when I open the page and things are different, it’s frustrating. I am a visual person and it’s frustrating.
  • My clients are not computer savvy for the most part (sometimes I even have to pursue just getting the intake form done!) but this is really an unfair "dislike.
  • The linking of calendars seems to be the most difficult for some reason. I have tried but it only links one way.
