Tech support is fast to respond. We like the ability to customize our exams to suit our needs.

Patient scheduling was good, but they seem to make it worse with updates. Spectacle POS better than original set-up.

Overall, my biggest complaint with Compulink is that the salesperson lied to me repeatedly. I asked specific questions and was given answers that were 180 degrees different than than the truth.

I like that you can auto populated 'positives' and that you can forward exam findings from last visit.

I am very pleased with the customer support teams they are very knowledgeable, courteous, and answer all questions in a very timely manner.

Additionally, it is inconvenient that for the text messaging Practice Watch, we can only have so many characters before it gets cut off and leaves our patients asking more questions.

Customer support has always been prompt and caring. Has been my best employee.

The ability to communicate with instruments and the quick way of populating fields on subsequent visits when nothing has changed is great. The fact that it prompts you for missing info is helpful.

We have used Compulink since 1994. The product is easy to use, covers all aspects of our optometry practice and their customer support is outstanding.

Their eprescribe function is woefully out of date, and their ICD 10 codes are incomplete. They are putting almost no money into keeping the system up to date and it really shows.

The flexibility and the functionality of the software is excellent.

Also the updates usually go very bad. One time all of our calendars went missing and we lost all our appointments.

My current struggle is with check out/ posting with discounts on packages.

I am uncomfortable with the form design as it is very technical.

Have to get out to correct error when billing.

We have been very happy with the ease of use and ability to customize. The support throughout the years has been top notch.

I love how I was able to work with my trainer to customize the software for my preferences. I love the email and text options as well as the patient portal.

This software is decent and affordable for those who don't have a large budget. I think there are better options out there but at a higher cost.

The cost of the product is probably higher than others on the market but in this arena I think you get what you pay for.

The integration of the EHR, PM, and optical was the biggest draw to the software. It is easy for our staff to learn, and integrates with most software we want it to integrate with.

Sometimes crashes for no reason, system can sometimes run slowly, cannot upload pictures directly into the software from ipad or other devices, must pay for other systems to integrate with software.

We are confident they will continue to be the best solution in the future as we grow from a medium organization into a large organization.

Our experience of TM3 is that we have gone paperless which save money and reception time. The practice over all has a more efficient feel to it.

No signature on bespoke emails. No area for frequently used attachments to be stored.

The diary feature is one of its best festures.

Some parts are rather 'clunky' particularly the 'search' section which can be frustrating. Setting up documents also need looking at.

Too many “work arounds”, for the cost of the product you would expect it to work not have to “work around” the problem.

Invoice by email with payment integration through stripe makes for hassle free payments.

TM3 is easy to use and I like many features. Scheduling appointments is very easy and intuitive.

Full calendar does not stay pinned even after pinning in place. Appointment notes currently collapsed and only showing current report rather than showing all treatment reports when you go to a case.

Straight forward logical system. And great access from mobile devices which is invaluable.

Client tracking reports - shows every appointment for each client rather than just the one that has' no future appointment. Date of birth jumping back to blank or to 30/12/1899 when trying to update.

All the features are hard to learn and took a while to master.

The team are very supportive and friendly. They are regularly making changes and updating.

It is cloud based so can get it from anywear on anything. Loads of functions, online booking is perfect.

Difficult for me to distinguish activity in multiple clinics at a quick glance when viewing the daily calendar. Moving between multiple patient's clinical details.

I think it is great value for money and having progressed from TM through TM2 to TM3 the software continues to stay ahead of the competition.

The software makes clinic management easy. Invoicing is simple clinic notes are user friendly and the patient reminders have almost eradicated dnas.

Clinikal notes are easy to use. Receipts emailing also good.

Ease of use and response of technical staff when I need help.

The decision to move to TM3 was a good one - the team are a pleasure to work with and nothing is too hard for them to investigate/ discuss. Use of the system is logical, which helped with compliance.

No diary app for phones. Doesn't have the option to put clients first name first in the appointments field.

The clinical records being perfect for Physiotherapy.

I am a sole practitioner so I use TM3 for many admin functions. It is great for keeping track of payments, invoices.

I had the pleasure of working with a hands-on implementation team: always available and it wasn't a simple database to bring across.

Things are not updated regularly enough, the desktop software seems to be forgotten about completely.

Things have definitely improved over the years and we have a good relationship with their support team who are always helpful and resolve any issues we have quickly for us.

TM3 is great, as it can be used both on our desktop computer and my personal laptop, so it is easy to gain a quick oversight of my clinic no matter where I am.

Solving: no longer require paper notes. Paper notes could be inadvertently destroyed.

How easy it is to amend notes templates and great customer service.

Occasionally updates cause small teething problems in some areas.

Overall I think TM3 is an excellent product and I would thoroughly recommend using it to run your practice. The support team are excellent and are always there to sort out a problem I’d they do arise.

TM3 is a practice management solution that can be deployed either in the cloud-based or on-premise. It is suitable for a variety of practice types. Key features include patient records with annotations, online appointment booking, clinical notes, live imaging and automatic auditing.


TM3 has reception tools that allow users to manage appointment books for multiple locations and receive payments. TM3 is able to automatically generate batch invoices and create analytical reports and graphs. Users also have access to TM3’s database of clinical notes.


TM3 send automatic text notifications to inform patients about an empty slot in case of some appointment cancellation. The solution provides reporting and financing capabilities which enables practices to visualize, analyze and prioritize their business operations.
