  • Pros

  • We have many clients that use Kareo and we routinely recommend Kareo to our new clients for its ease of use, excellent reporting capabilities and reasonable price.
  • I like the ability to learn as needed with Kareo university and ease of use for our team. We love the automated reminders and the ability the send messages with the software.
  • Ease of use - numerous and useful reports - user friendly - excellent and knowledgeable support - affordable - cloud based - can run your billing from almost anywhere.
  • Cons

  • We have 245 customer support cases and that's just the times that we've gotten frustrated to the point that we are willing to call and deal with their terrible customer service.
  • Reports are the most horrible. Missing Encounter reports is completely misleading and full of errors.
  • Disappointed, will be switching as soon as my contract is up (or sooner if I am losing patients).

  • And it works great for each department. And the customer service is great and very helpful.
  • I appreciated the simplicity of the NueMD design; it was easy to extend schedules, and the design was two-dimensional. I also liked the reports that could be run about types of services rendered.
  • If I ever have any questions, the vendor is always available to help. My account manager not only helps, but she explains things to me so that I have a better understanding of how it works.
  • Cons

  • Acquired shortly after we implemented, with HORRIBLE support afterwards. No longer supporting the product and refuse to make any enhancements or fix any problems.
  • When an issue arises with your contracted services, NueMD is not willing to credit you for the downtime or the inconvenience. Blocking and unblocking has no user information.
  • I used Nuesoft for 1 year and then I lost a major account due to provider going on medical leave. I could no longer afford it so I had to drop it.
