Pros:

What I like most about Tebra is it's all-in-one approach to practice management, combining scheduling, billing, patient communication, and electronic health records in a single platform.

Cons:

What I like least about Tebra is that some features can have a learning curve, especially during the initial setup and onboarding process. Additionally, occasional system slowdowns or limitations in customization and reporting options can make certain workflows less flexible than desired. The lack of making the website your own. Not many options with a build-out of website.

Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Tebra. I am glad I gave them a chance. I almost cancelled my appointment with the sales representative, \[sensitive content hidden\] but I am so glad that I didn't. If I had cancelled my meeting with \[sensitive content hidden\] I probably would have saved a few bucks (but not much; Tebra is priced much more competitively than some EHRs I looked at) trying to adapt an EHR meant for therapists to a psych med management practice.

Pros:

Everything! I'm serious. My first contact with Tebra was through their sales representative, \[sensitive content hidden\] who showed me all Tebra had to offer. \[sensitive content hidden\] was interested in helping me and my practice, but wasn't pushy. The onboarding experience has been wonderful! My onboarding specialist, \[sensitive content hidden\] , has been so helpful and responsive to my needs. The onboarding modules in Tebra University are VERY thorough. I have used other EHRs, and their onboarding processes don't even compare.

Cons:

I've had a few small issues with my settings and have had to submit some help tickets for technical support, but nothing major. Tebra's IT department has been remarkably responsive and helpful with resolving these minor issues. The template customization seems to have a bit of a learning curve, but it is definitely manageable. I'm sure I will get better with it over time, it just isn't what I would call "user-friendly." That being said, please don't take it away!

Reasons for choosing Tebra

The alternatives either didn't have what I was looking for, or they were too expensive. Simple Practice was closest, and I'm sure I could make it work, but I prefer Tebra because it feels more like it adapts to me rather than me adapting to it.

Reasons for switching to Tebra

I felt like they were made more for therapists, and I was trying to adapt my practice to work with a system that it wasn't really designed for.

Cost effective, great support. Love that it integrates with various EMRs. Its quite easy to use and intuitive for new staff.

Cons:

Some reports are a little challenging; There are times when I have tried to get some data via the excel add-in and its just not quite right.

I have been with Kareo/Tebra since 2019 and have loved the service they provide. It is easy to learn and easy to use. The customer service is always there! The tools are great!

Cons:

Honestly, there is not much I don't like. Last year there was an annual fee added on and that was disappointing because it was for a service I do not use, and there was a lot of back and forth to get it resolved.

Reasons for switching to Tebra

Office Ally became cumbersome when billing multiple providers.

Pros:

Basic function... Nothing special. Just gets your front point A to point B, other than that, nothing special.

Cons:

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I got locked out of the software. I informed rep that I am the owner, verified credentials and he could not help for a basic password reset. He said that as a "Level 1" customer support rep, he couldn't help. Asked for a supervisor and instead of meeting a customer's needs, or even him going to "Level 2" for assistance, he said that no one would or could help solve- even up to IT development. Basic functions of password resets or unlocking accounts should be basic, entry level skills that can be fixed. If not, then why does your customer support even exist? I would rather hand write CMS 1500 forms with a quill pen and by candlelight then use your customer support.

It was more costly but the software is great- now wish I would of!

Pros:

I like that the chart is generally user friendly. I like being able to open up my patient chart and being able to open up the note and documents in separate windows so that I can continue to type while I'm in split screen mode.

Cons:

There's little that I don't like about Tebra. When I open a new note and I pull down the drop down menu to open my template, I wish I could customize it so that I only get the 3-4 templates that I typically use, rather than getting a list including physical therapy note, therapist note etc. none of which I'll ever use.

Loved the courteous manner in which the support agent worked with me and my business. He took the time to work thru the billing problems

Cons:

Tebra is complicated. And always referred to an article to read to cover any problems. The articles are difficult for me. I need one on one help with a live person.

Try combining all patient's information to come up on screen not having to go to different tabs would speed up the process of verifying patients including insurance information.

Cons:

Everything is very much needed to learn is being provided. There's is nothing that I don't like. It's very important to learn the information and utilize it to help with the flow of the day.
