Greenway Health Prime Suite


Greenway Health’s ambulatory platform provides healthcare organizations with clinical, financial, and administrative tools and services. Prime Suite is Greenway’s electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) system. Practices can choose between on-premise and hosted options and can add on integrated solutions for revenue cycle management, interoperability, population health management, mobile access, analytics and patient engagement.

Prime Suite supports clinical documentation for primary care and specialties with templates specific to the encounters those physicians see most often. To support practice participation in quality care initiatives, Prime Suite is certified for MU Stages 1 and 2, and is prevalidated to offer points toward NCQA patient-centered medical home (PCMH) recognition.

Prime Suite also includes tools to assist with ICD-10 coding and dashboards to track progress toward quality measures for value-based programs.

Buyer beware

Overall spent innumerable hours training for setup and very step of the way, they leave you to your own means to do your actual set-up. The quality of trainers is very variable and I lost count the number of times I was tole "I do not know that. Let me get back to you" and there was no follow-up. Integration with their so called partners is very cumbersome and they might have an interface but they are NOT integrated. Most of them are stand-alone other web-based products. The billing team is good but the billing software workflows are archaic. Stay away!!

Pros

Nothing whatsoever. The fact that in 2019 you have to use a remote desktop connection to get to your emr kills it!

Cons

Remote desktop connection makes using the product a very clunky process. Sales person glazes over the importance of this.

Primesuite Does It All For A Medical Office

Primesuite's been great! We've utilized the software, support staff, and IT to get Primesuite to where is suites our practice. No regrets at all in choosing this software.

Pros

Our office has been using this software for roughly 6 years now and we've gotten every penny worth! We've grown our office tremendously over these 6 years and used Primesuite throughout it all. We've gone from the local software to using it all on the cloud. We've even utilized their billing help! Primesuite has definitely helped in our offices success!

Cons

Primesuite can be a little confusing to navigate at times. After the initial learning curve it becomes easier and easier. This confusion is most likely due to the fact that there is so many ways to customize Primesuite to your practice.

Dependable and Reliable

Pros

Ease of functions and help features are easy to follow. So many of the functions are almost self-explanatory.

Cons

Don't have any--.We have been most fortunate with input issues from the beginning. Only con is that we can't integrate information to other facilities--no that is not far away.

What an Awesome EMR Product!!

Pros

This Product is very Easy to Use, Customer Service is Phenomenal, and the Product is very versatile with the change climate of the medical industry.

Cons

There a minimal cons for the product. The only con I have is not being able to attend the Engage Session held Annually.

Excellent for billing

Pros

Best billing software in the industry! It speaks continuously with the EHR. The data analytics tool can simultaneously pull data from PM and EHR.

Cons

Expensive product, especially when you add on the EHR, analytics tool, interfaces, and other modules (like immunization registry)

It is a great tool and it has made reporting a lot easier

Pros

Exceptional customer service. The reporting is so much easier and I like how it can be reported by CPT codes, patients,charges etc.

Cons

Not all windows expand to full screen. It is very frustrating to look at the daily schedule and only be able to expand the screen to 3/4 and not full screen.
Financial Intelligence is not so friendly to use.

Intuitive EHR system

I used this system daily at a previous clinic I worked at. Company was bought out and EPIC was brought on instead, which is much more complex.

Pros

Easy to learn, took almost no time to train new users. Easily incorporated dictation for providers. Integrated well with our Phreesia system for patient self check-in. The face-sheet screen is a great feature, allowing you to see important patient info at a glance. The integrated billing section was great and allowed staff to easily answer questions related to billing without passing the patient off to someone else. One-stop problem solving was a huge patient satisfier!

Cons

User interface feels dated, unable to customize notes.

I am reporting the company to the BBB and hiring an attorney. I can only hope that my businesses survive going with Greenway. Huge mistake!!! The billing company is about to cause my clinic to go out of business. After being with the company for 5 months we have posted nearly $4 million in charges and only received $250,000. Customer service takes 2-3 days to return a call. We have been trying to understand our bill since day one and not a single person at Greenway can explain what we are been charged for. We do not have a "go-to" person. Each branch of the company is separate so it takes multiple calls and weeks to get to the bottom of an issue. When a medication is prescribed through the system the number of tablets written/amount dispensed does not show up in the chart. Tons of problems with this company/EHR

User Friendly EMR

Pros

We have been using Greenway since our practice opened in 2004. We tell all new employees if you know basic computer skills you will be able to catch on quick. The customer support is great and you can even solve your issue on a chat instead of having to call in.

Cons

The reports can get confusing at times and running the wrong one happens more than it should. Also, communication about updates can be better.

Greenway is a "Five Star" PM and EHR system.

We interviewed many different companies before choosing a PM/EHR system. Our clinic has now been with Greenway since 2012, and we are very thankful to have this company on our side. Greenway EHR and PM system is the best answer for us.

Pros

Greenway has a smooth and efecient flow. Great software support. Great hardware support. Upgrades are seamless. Pleasant support staff.

Cons

There have been a few hiccups along the way, but Greenway support has always provided a fix or a workaround.

Pros

Very clean platform and user interface, simple and easy to work with! We have been using this for several months and are more than happy with our results!

Cons

It took quite a bit of time to shift our data into the system, however, that would occur with any platform.

Best EMR you will every use.

Greenway Prime Suite has made our lives so much easier by offering a great EMR.

Pros

Prime Suite software makes it very easy to become a pro user in no time! It is easy to find your way around and the help guide answers any questions you may have. The Customer Community is excellent, you can participate in additional learning classes, and find answers to any problem area you are having without having to open a case, it can be fixed with a simple help guide.

Cons

I would like to be able to see the entire day of the schedule and all the providers on the screen at once.

PRIME GREEN WAY.

I did use in the past practice fusion, nextgen, practice partner in the previous job before going in my on own I will rather use practice fusion again, I do have the view as a physician and owner of the practice.

Pros

The billing software works well, I found it difficult to find a claim that was not paid why ( all the information is there) you need to get used to finding it, it is not easy to see and find a thing quickly.

Cons

Very difficult for family medicine you need to expend a lot of time doing your set up otherwise paid a lot of money for training and still do your own work " Forget about free training" the free training is just for you to start using greenway, finding diagnosis is difficult it takes a lot of time, sending prescription also take time, you have to save everything before you move to the next step in your note otherwise you can lose the information, make sure your contract has everything you may need in the future otherwise they will charge you for even a smile in from of prime suite, the sale person will tell you everything is included make sure you take your time reading and getting everything in written ( e-prescribe free: not true for control medication you have to pay extra if not written in the initial contract, asking for update or more training it can take weeks even when you have to pay.

Prime Suite is a Robust EMR for Clinic Setting

There are a lot of positive features and functions in Prime Suite. It is a stable, robust EMR platform that makes it easy to optimize and scale-up workflows across multiple sites. Our patient volume and charge capture has grown by 14.5% since going live 4 years ago. The Achilles heel of Greenway is poor inside sales.

Pros

Highly Customizable. Tailored for Ob-Gyn practice and workflows. Extensive market partners capable of plugging into the system to further tailor workflows.

Cons

They nickel and dime you for every little add-on feature and don't allow you to cancel or change features and licenses easily.

Pros

The facesheet makes it easy to review a patient's entire health history, and it has predictive text for entering history.

Cons

The system is incredibly slow, constantly freezes, and you cannot view multiple things at once. When you go to look at a result or document, all other areas of the chart become unusable.

An exceptional EHR that has grows with us.

I have to say that the customer service is beyond exceptional. My questions are answered in a timely manner and the support staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. We have been with Greenway for 12 years and love it!

Pros

What I like most about Greenway Prime Suite is that is always growing as our needs grow. It is comforting knowing that our software will be around and updated to meet our needs.

Cons

There is nothing negative that I can say about it. I have a hard time keeping up with the updates but that is a welcomed challenge.
