Greenway Health Prime Suite


 

Greenway Health’s ambulatory platform provides healthcare organizations with clinical, financial, and administrative tools and services. Prime Suite is Greenway’s electronic health record (EHR) and practice management (PM) system. Practices can choose between on-premise and hosted options and can add on integrated solutions for revenue cycle management, interoperability, population health management, mobile access, analytics and patient engagement.

Prime Suite supports clinical documentation for primary care and specialties with templates specific to the encounters those physicians see most often. To support practice participation in quality care initiatives, Prime Suite is certified for MU Stages 1 and 2, and is prevalidated to offer points toward NCQA patient-centered medical home (PCMH) recognition.

Prime Suite also includes tools to assist with ICD-10 coding and dashboards to track progress toward quality measures for value-based programs.

PRIME SUITE IS A GREAT EMR FOR ANY PHYSICIAN PRACTICE ESPECIALLY AN OB/GYN AND/OR ORTHOPEDIC PRACTICE. VERY ROBUST AND I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT GREAT EXPERIENCES WITH GREENWAY CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Cons

THE ONE ITEM THAT I HAVE EXPRESSED DISMAY ABOUT IS THE "REPORTS" AS THEY ARE STANDARD REPORTS OR YOU HAVE TO BUILD YOUR OWN WHICH IS CHALLENGING. THERE HAVE BEEN TIMES THAT GREENWAY HAD TO "DEVELOP" THE REPORT AND LOAD IT ONTON MY SITE.

Cons

"Bugs", Slowness in resolving issues. Sometimes, the "Hot Fixes" applied to resolve one issue causes more problems than it solves.

Good product that can scale to support needs of mid size healthcare practice. Very customizable but not too overwhelming to support.

Pros

Amazing product support and ease of use. Great customer support. Many folks have been on that team supporting the product for a long time.

Cons

Somewhat out dated user interfaces and not able to turn on ad-hoc interfaces. Must go through vendor.

Solid all around, but reporting assistance. More mips measures for more specialties. Helping with upcoming bundled payments.

Cons

A/R tracking is difficult to run reports on. Need to specify what your looking for and which code your trying to find.

This product is easy to use. It is very functional, with ease of collaboration. You definitely have a winner with this product.

Cons

The only con I has found is minimal issues once version updating occurs. If this issue can get addressed a little easier, there would be nothing holding this product back!!

This is the software if you have a higher volume practice. Top of the line.

Pros

Layer upon layer of functional interfacing capabilities, templates and orders tracking. From referral management to RCM this is a top shelf product.

Advice to Others

Invest in training. Any EHR is only as good as the user and this product has so many features you will be missing out finyiu don’t take some time to train and set up templates and flow.

We have always had great customer service with Greenway

Pros

Primesuite is so easy to use and navigate. The customer service is great. Greenway also offers a lot of educational information and webinars.

Cons

I wish it had more of the measures required by CMS. I also think the required steps should be in red and that you couldn't close the chart out until they are done.

Practice Management Side - ease of use and I love the Greenway Clearing House feature as it is so easy and the turn around of claims is fabulous

The appt scheduler - I would like to see a drop down or something so you can see future appts listed for one patient...presently, you can only see one past and one in future

Pros

Customer support has improved a great deal. We are now assisted almost immediately with any issue that arises. They are knowledgeable, professional and great to work with.

Cons

The patient scheduling area of Prime Suite is probably our least favorite area of the whole system.

I have had a great experience working with Greenway. I was not hired with this company when they started this software so I was not present for the teaching of how to operate this program. However, any problem I run into where I do not know what to do, Greenway has made it so easy for me just to pick up the phone and call them. I get an immediate response and am always satisfied.

Overall : It is a great system. The implementation consultant was great, clear and always available to answer any questions or address any concerns.

Pros

The ability to generate different types of report whether it is clinical or management.
The chat option is an excellent feature.

Cons

I felt the management training to implement the software and customize it to our needs was very rushed. The training calendar is very limited and the hours offered do not help while trying to run a clinic at the same time.
The schedule window and the Visit Information: Check-in window are TOO SMALL. Every dialog box/window should have the option to be maximize to FULL SCREEN.

Customer support has been great (chat feature is key, so you can keep working while getting your questions answered).

Cons

The accounting side of it can get a bit convoluted.
Does not cover some specific items for some specialties.
Specialists will need to put in some time on the templates, but it is worth it in the long run.

The product is very consumer driven. The more you put into it the more you get out of it. While this is not a con for us as we are very involved in adapting along with the product, some do not put in the time to make the product work for them.

Pros

What I like most about Greenway is the accessibility to customer service. If I have a question that I can't answer or if I need an answer in a hurry, their customer service team is amazing! They are always willing to take the time to answer additional questions and exceed expectations. Greenway's ability to evolve with the ever changing healthcare requirements is a testament to their longevity commitment. When adding new staff, it is an easy application to learn.

Product is well thought out and helpful in day to day practice use. Reports can be customized to fit the needs of the practice and customer service is always helpful, knowlegble and friendly. Questions are quickly answered and followed with emails for future reference. Product is updated frequently.

Cons

I don't have many cons other than short notice on updates on the software and the system does takes some time to learn.
