Speedy Claims Software


 

SpeedyClaims is an on-premise tool that allows small clinics and single-provider offices to manage CMS 1500 insurance claim forms. It is compatible with most Windows operating systems.

Users can print paper copies of their CMS 1500 forms or send them electronically. The forms can be customized for a specific practice, which enables fields to be automatically completed when users open new forms. Information is saved for reuse and repeat patient claims can be auto-completed using previously entered information.

Claims are saved in the claims list, which allows users to keep track of patient payments. Users can also configure shortcuts suited to their workflows. A Medicare claims processing guide and a year of software updates are included. SpeedyClaims also offers calendars, and it includes databases for provider, patient and insurance company data and a list of diagnostic codes.

Email and phone support are offered. A free trial is available.

I love the ease of use and efficiency with these online forms. Paperwork is and was one of the most time-consuming components of practice, and this allows many steps to be abbreviated or eliminated. It is also cost-effective.

Cons

It is not as helpful for older, or non-tech savvy clients. so they might still need some one on one help to be able to complete forms.

Speedy Soft Claims gives me the ability to keep all my claim records in one place, and makes it easy to file claims. I do only about 3 claims per month, so I didn't need an elaborate system.

Speedy Soft is a great basic claims software for my private practice. It's good for the price and does allow me to easily update monthly claims. However, the look and format is very outdated, and it needs a visual overhaul to bring it up to date and modern.

Have used Speedy Claims for printing 1500 forms for quite a while now. Very easy to fill out forms and save provider info, insurance info, etc. Software is just easy overall.

Pros

I have tried other software to print out my 1500 forms and can never get the alignment correct. Speedy Claims is so easy to set the alignment helping to reduce wasted forms that are not correctly aligned. The backup is awesome and the overall software is very easy to use.

Software is worth every penny, but insurance form figuring is very confusing. Diagnosis #21 in the new ICD code 10 it needs to put the (.) your self. Please fix this issue.

Hi,

There is an option in the Settings to choose whether to print the decimal in the ICD 10 code.

Please note that on page 15 of the latest Medicare claims manual (included within the Speedy Claims) it is specifically stated - "¿ Do not insert a period in the ICD-9-CM or ICD-10-CM code." Doing so could cause your claims to be delayed or denied.

I was thrust into the medical claims world after our billing left of office hanging. With zero experience of billing of any kind, I was able to navigate my way through Speedy Claims as well as Speedy Ledger. The ease of the products is very straight forward. The support that is available is extremely helpful and always seems to go the extra mile. Even when they are not available
the call back time is very short.

Pros

The streamline design and ease of use.

Cons

any issues I do have are normally resolved quickly, so this is a tough question.

Advice to Others

Very reasonably priced and is easy to use. Very few issues.

I have used this product for over a year. It is very user friendly and when I first started this position, we have to move the product to my computer and needed to call customer service. Some users mark the claim as paid then deactivate it. This causes the claim to be hidden from the list but still in the database and accessible whenever you need it.

I was using a previous version of your product. I like it for the most part but this version is a lot better. I find it extremely easy to use. I am not very tech savvy.

Pros

It is user friendly. The claim form is what you see is what you get. Vast improvement over previous version.

Cons

I don't like that when I have started a claim and don't have the doctor's info I have to save the claim. I would just like there to be a second pop up window where I can enter the doctor info and then import it.

You could use a template. Then the doctor's info would show up automatically when you start a claim.

If the dates are the same for each row you can enter the dates for the first row then click your F4 key and it will duplicate it to the next row below.

If the dates are different for each row you will have to enter them.

Good software. Works well. Relatively easy to use. Can bill under ICD 9 and ICD 10. Good help files and questions answered. Company provides free updates. Good customer support.

Changed hard drives and program became inactivated. able to fix with one phone call and new activation code. They should eliminate this feature which is likely there to prevent pirating. However this program is used by professionals who need reliability and are not selling it on EBay.

We added the ability for the user to "deactivate" the software license prior to moving to a new computer or hard drive. The user can now easily activate the program on the new computer.
